Stephan Sprink: ComPro GmbH was established in 2024 by experienced industry professionals who developed the market over the last decades for the use of statistics in the industrial production. They thus understand the challenges manufacturing companies face in achieving compliance with international standards, Industry 4.0 goals and process control and optimization.
Our motto, “Compliant processes for valid measurements in industrial production,” reflects our commitment to supporting manufacturing customers of all sizes. S.S: ComPro operates globally. From my viewpoint, the industrial production market can be described as “cautious” due to past failures in both AI/ML and Industry 4.0 projects. Recent advances in technology and standards harmonization, along with global reshoring efforts, are creating significant market opportunities. Success depends on delivering advanced, transparent, and user-friendly solutions, bridging legacy and new systems, and maintaining customer-centric practices.

What can you tell us about market trends?
S.S: AI/ML in industrial production is in a growth phase, with companies seeking smarter, faster, higher-quality solutions. Orders for machine and cutting tools are stable or rising, more so outside Europe. Metrology paired with data analytics is key for manufacturers. While DIY solutions are attempted, comprehensive offerings like ComPro’s are better positioned for success. The market for AI-driven manufacturing solutions is expanding rapidly and will continue to expand so long as the deliverable is improving efficiency, quality, and profitability.
