AUSTRALIA SCAFFOLDING & FORMWORK – LARGEST SCAFFOLD AND FORMWORK MANUFACTURER

Australia Scaffolding & Formwork is a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of high-quality safety and access equipment. The company supplies an extensive range of Kwikstage scaffolding, mobile towers, falsework systems, fencing, shoring props, LVL timber, and plywood. Their warehouses offer hire and estimation services for residential, civil, and commercial projects.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

We’re a manufacturer and wholesaler of scaffolding and formwork products. We ship scaffolding solutions to tier one construction sites nationwide from our Melbourne warehouses.

What’s the news about new products/services?

Our own range of Ringlock scaffolding will be available in Q3 2025. Equipped with rosettes providing eight single points of connection and ability to crane lift pre-assembled structures, ringlock is the future of commercial scaffolding in Australia.

What are the ranges of products/services?

Kwikstage scaffolding is utilised on large-scale commercial construction sites. Painted or galvanised options are available, with the latter offering additional rust protection and longevity.

Mobile scaffolding towers are often used on smaller residential projects. Built for quick assembly and ease of use, all components are colour coded and labelled, meaning even a novice can assemble them (platform heights greater than four metres requires a scaffold license). All components are lightweight aluminium for easy transport around a site.

Our formwork options include V-shore, H-frame, LVL beams and formply for supporting concrete slabs. We also stock shoring props that act as temporary supports.

Our temporary fencing range includes panels with 2.5mm and 3mm wire mesh, concrete feet and metal clamps for stability.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

The Australian scaffold and formwork market remains stable with strong activity in infrastructure, civil, and mid-rise residential projects. Demand continues to be driven by government-funded construction, especially transport and health sectors.

What can you tell us about market trends?

There is a shift towards modular systems, especially Ringlock scaffolding, which is beginning to replace Kwikstage on commercial builds. The main advantages of Ringlock are the eight points of connection on each rosette and the ability to crane pre-assembled structures up to the top of highrises in development.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

Ringlock scaffolding is the next big wave in the Australia market. Since its introduction at the start of the decade, developers have been slow to adopt it. Fast forward to 2025, and many developers are starting to embrace the new system on their worksites while phasing out the older Kwikstage systems.

What estimations do you have for the second half of 2025?

We expect continued growth in infrastructure-led projects and a recovery in private development approvals. As the market becomes increasingly competitive, contractors will gradually favor suppliers who can offer all-in-one solutions, including equipment hire, compliance support, finance packages, estimation, erection and dismantling.
