RTM Ratiotechnik Milde GmbH specializes in precision components for a wide range of industries. For a specific application, the German company was looking for a solution to efficiently and automatically align differently shaped parts – without requiring additional technical effort.
Precise alignment despite rotated parts
The challenge was that the components were placed on the conveyor belt rotated by 90 degrees and still had to be correctly positioned within a very short distance. Pneumatic rotary units or other active components were not an option due to space and integration constraints. At the same time, product changes had to remain simple and straightforward at all times.
Space-saving and process-reliable
Montech developed an inclined conveyor with a stable side guide that mechanically rotates and positions the parts. The design is based on a standard conveyor, adapted to the specific application. The pre-assembled and tested solution was installed directly in production. For RTM, this meant fast commissioning, high process reliability, flexible product changes, minimal internal effort, and cost-effective operation.
