Ecofaber was born with the aim of designing and building boilers, stoves, fireplaces and burners, fueled by biomass such as: pellets, wood, olive pomace, wood chips both at a domestic and industrial level. The company boasts a distribution and assistance network, with the aim of supporting collaborators and end customers in the pre- and post-sales service.
Geographically, Ecofaber’s market extends into the Italian and European territory.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
ECOFABER: The main areas of activity of the company refer to domestic and also industrial rescaling; in particular of residential and non-residential homes, but also of industrial warehouses, greenhouses, hotels, swimming pools and much more.
Experts in the sector for years, we offer cutting-edge products and/or systems to achieve the needs required by the end customer.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
ECOFABER: In view of new environmental and development regulations, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, and by virtue of market challenges, our company has mobilized to design new products in line with the regulations in force, the needs of end customers, but above all in reference to environmental protection.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
ECOFABER: Our product range expands into five categories:
- Boilers, which we find inside 8 different models;
- Fireplaces, both air and hydro;
- Burners;
- Hot air generators;
- Stoves, both hydro and air;
Each product satisfies different needs and is fed with biomass, i.e. agricultural processing waste that can be used as fuel. The choice of the product derives from the requests of the end customer in reference to automatic ignition, production of domestic hot water and fuel used.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
ECOFABER: Currently the biomass market has a strong growing trend; this thanks to the objectives set by the European community and the continuous awareness campaigns towards respect for the environment. Furthermore, in recent decades a new business model has developed, i.e. the circular economy model, which aims at the reuse of raw materials within the economic system without generating processing waste and/or waste. This model, still not widespread today due to the huge costs it requires for the transition from the old models to the circular ones, allows companies to design and build products that are able to be reused at the time of their disposal or that can replace part of them and not them in their entirety.
The increases in non-renewable energy prices (gas and electricity) have also allowed the market to grow and shift market demand towards the purchase of biomass-fueled boilers in its favor.
The purchase of a biomass-fueled boiler offers two precious advantages: the first linked to the cost-effectiveness of purchasing fuel, the second because it respects the environment and reduces CO2 emissions.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
ECOFABER: Up until a few months ago, the market required products that could be fueled generically with wood and pellets. Pellet, given the increases in electricity prices, has undergone sharp increases in the market and this has only generated, on the part of end customers, a move away from the purchase of products powered exclusively by pellets. To date, pellets can be replaced by other biomass such as: wood, pomace pits, wood chips and many other agricultural processing waste. Therefore, all end customers are always inclined to purchase products that are fueled by biomass, this because, with reference to a circular economy perspective, the waste produced by other processes can give life to new fuels: ecological and that respect the environment.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
ECOFABER: Among the most requested innovative products are:
- BB model boiler: this reverse flame boiler model features high efficiency and almost zero emission of polluting elements;
- Thermo-fireplace model ETNA – L/P: this thermo-fireplace has a refined and modern aesthetic. Furthermore, there are very low levels of CO2 emissions;
- ELE model boiler, this boiler is used to meet the needs of large systems. It features a self-cleaning system and can be managed remotely.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?
ECOFABER: We have set ourselves various objectives, not only to be achieved by 2023 but also in a ten-year perspective. First of all, our primary objective remains, every year, that of guaranteeing products and pre- and post-sales assistance to the final consumer, always improving our sales and assistance network. We set ourselves the goal of moving towards circular business models, so that our entire production and non-production cycle complements the sustainable development goals.
