Electra Polska was founded in 1997. Over time, it has become a serious partner for major industrial and professional power companies in 22 European countries. The company is now an established supplier of professional, high-quality, state-of-the-art electrotechnical products.
Interview with Adrian Kasica, Energy Market Development Manager at Electra Polska.
What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Adrian Kasica: The delivery of specialised equipment comes first, followed – just as important – by our service department, so that our customers do not have to worry about possible breakdowns. Service is both stationary and mobile throughout Europe. Our activities also include the organisation of specialised training courses for energy companies.
What’s the news about new products/services?
A.K: Our customers praise the Robot 101 RBT which makes it possible to install cables without closing off crossing objects (roads, railways, etc. ).
Cable Pushers “cable dog” For pushing and pulling force support during the installation of heavy cables. Optimal and gentle power transmission to the cable. For use in narrow trenches. We have a range of cable winches on Caterpillar chassis. The remote-controlled machine can handle the toughest terrain.

What are the ranges of products/services?
A.K: We listen to the needs of our clients. We try to implement all suggestions for change on an ongoing basis. So that our products are as practical as possible. Our catalogue is over 300 pages long, there is really a lot of it. I invite you to visit our website.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
A.K: The energy market is now experiencing a huge progression, with the whole of Europe being upgraded. Every transmission line distributor is now keen to dig medium-voltage, low-voltage and fibre-optic lines into the ground – as Electra, we help with these projects.
What can you tell us about market trends?
A.K: There is a shortage of electricians on the market, so the industry is striving to be as mechanised as possible in the execution phase. We are introducing machines so that we can complete sites on time with less manpower. I remember years ago coming to a construction site where 40 men were pulling 110kV cable by hand – today all you need is a machine and an operator.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
A.K: I believe that the tools used serve their purpose to the full – they are reliable and contribute to reducing project times. However, it is important to remember that their efficient and safe use requires highly qualified operators. For this reason, we attach great importance to training. The operation of winches or the pressing of high-temperature pipes are skills that require specialist knowledge and experience. Proper preparation of employees is crucial, especially as they carry out high-risk work, often around live, active facilities. Lack of knowledge or adequate training can lead to serious accidents.
What estimations do you have for the end of 2025?
Romania is one of the fastest growing countries in Europe today. We want to be part of this development – together with local contractors to build and upgrade transmission lines. We hope that by the end of 2025 we will be able to say together: this cooperation is really going in a great direction. We invite all interested parties to join us – and, of course, to visit our headquarters in Poland. You are always welcome!
