I-CHARGING, ELECTRIFYING MOBILITY

i-charging was born in 2019 from the desire to create technology-based products, enhancing innovation, differentiation, design, and quality within the most sophisticated segments of electric mobility infrastructure.

A brief description of the company and its activities.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we aim to lead the way to a future where electric mobility makes a significant contribution to reducing global carbon emissions. We believe this is achievable by adopting innovative tools and methodologies and by leveraging our expertise with global ambition.

Our commitment is also about the people who are driving this change. Our dedicated team works to innovate and create solutions that make a real difference. Their passion and expertise drive our success and inspire us to push the boundaries.

At i-charging, we are proud to do our role in this transformative journey, ensuring that the future of mobility is green and sustainable for the next generations to come.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

i-charging operates in the electric mobility sector, focusing on the development of advanced charging infrastructure, energy management systems, and digital tools that support a more sustainable and efficient mobility. Our mission is to create innovative, people-centred technologies that enable the transition to a low-carbon future.

What’s the news about new products/services?

i-charging seeks to expand its presence and visibility worldwide, while consolidating its position in the countries where it already operates, offering a differentiated proposition that delivers value to all stakeholders.

This journey is made possible by an experienced team with many years of expertise in the sector, as well as deep knowledge of both technology and the market. Their contribution drives the continuous evolution of our offering, with new specifications already in development and exciting updates coming soon.

What are the ranges of products/services?

Our ecosystem includes hardware and software solutions for the charging infrastructure, complemented by a comprehensive suite of digital tools and services to ensure top-notch support at every step of the customer journey.

Our DC chargers, blueberry and i-light ranges, were designed to deliver any power to any number of outputs, with any standard, in any combination to any vehicle, light-duty or heavy-duty.

my.i-charging is our monitoring tool designed to enhance operational efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and improve customer experience. It improves network reliability, streamlines essential processes through automation and ensures smooth operation with minimal resource consumption, providing an outstanding performance.

To boost energy efficiency, we developed omni-e.

omni-e manages on-site energy generation and demand, and can be integrated with renewable energy sources, enabling drivers to charge their vehicles with clean, sustainable energy. This fosters the shift toward a low-carbon future and decreases reliance on fossil fuels.

e-flow is the latest evolution within the i-charging ecosystem. Acting as a central control unit, it manages up to four charging plugs, seamlessly integrating advanced technologies from the blueberry family, including dynamic power allocation, optional user authentication, certified metering, and payment systems—all within a sleek, efficient form.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

i-charging operates in a rapidly evolving and highly promising market. Across the geographies where we are active, the electric mobility sector is experiencing strong momentum, driven by the decarbonisation of transport, government incentives, environmental regulations, and growing consumer and fleet demand for clean mobility solutions.

While the level of market maturity varies between countries, there is a consistent upward trend in EV adoption and investment in charging infrastructure, particularly in the heavy-duty segment. This dynamic environment presents both opportunities and challenges, including the need for scalable, efficient, and interoperable solutions, challenges that i-charging responds to with its ecosystem.

What can you tell us about market trends?

The global market for electric heavy-duty vehicles is entering a phase of accelerated growth, with annual rates between 30% and 35%, driven by the energy transition in the transport sector. This dynamic presents a unique strategic opportunity for i-charging to lead in the implementation of solutions based on the Megawatt Charging System (MCS) standard.

In anticipation of this trend, i-charging has developed native support for MCS, offering power delivery of up to 1.5 MW per output. This ensures optimised charging times for heavy-duty vehicles, while maintaining high energy efficiency (98–99%), which significantly reduces operational costs linked to energy loss.

Our solutions are designed with robustness and functionality in mind, allowing seamless integration into various infrastructures. Thanks to a modular architecture, the installed power can be scaled to meet specific client needs. Furthermore, our systems comply with major international safety and interoperability standards, ensuring readiness for the evolving demands of this rapidly expanding market.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

Innovation has been at the core of our company since day one. Our first major milestone was the blueberry, the first EV charger in the world to feature a 32’’ touch display, not only enhancing user experience, but also introducing advertising as a new revenue stream for our clients. This approach redefined the role of public chargers, turning them into multifunctional assets.

We continued to push boundaries by becoming the first to deliver 600 kW with dynamic power distribution across multiple outputs, an innovation we later scaled to 900 kW, maintaining leadership in ultra-fast, high-capacity charging.

In 2024, we launched i-light, our solution for heavy-duty charging, developed from scratch with the specific needs of this segment in mind. Once again, we brought innovation to the forefront with the integration of a transparent display, visible right from the truck driver’s seat, ensuring easy monitoring of the charging process. A unique feature that elevates the visual identity of a traditionally bulky and utilitarian segment, bringing both form and function into the design.
