What are the news about new products / services?
T.D & F.T: IGP’s IGP-DURA®one 56 is a low-cure coating with architectural and railway approvals, while IGP-DURA®one 66 expands the surface options. Since its 2022 launch, the range has grown to ten surface finishes (to be completed in late 2025), all with excellent application stability and wide colour choices.
For the ACE market, IGP-HWFindustry 79 offers a super-durable low-cure solution. The updated IGP-KORROPRIMER enables higher topcoat thickness with less powder. New products include IGP-DURA®sky 95 (10-year Florida weather resistance), IGP-Melted Metal (metal-like effects), and IGP-Reflectives (reduces solar heat buildup).
IGP also expands customer certifications, develops calculation tools to demonstrate benefits, and launched the IGP Powder Center webshop with 1,000+ products—rolling out across Europe in 2026 for faster, more convenient ordering.
What are the ranges of products / services?
T.D & F.T: IGP’s IGP’s core range is IGP-DURA®one (series 56 and 66), known for stable application, fast delivery, and a wide choice of colours and surfaces.
For industrial use, IGP offers high-durability coatings (e.g. weather-resistant, chemical-resistant, railway-grade, antimicrobial “Care,” anti-static “ESD”), IGP-KORROPRIMER for corrosion protection, and IGP-RAPID®low-cure powders for wood.
For aesthetics, there are tinted clear coats, fine-touch and smooth-levelling products, plus special finishes like IGP-DURA®xal (deep matte, velvety) and IGP-Melted Metal (metal-like effects).
IGP also develops custom formulations for large clients. Services include training, IGP Coating Partner certification, over 100 lab tests, and digital Analyze-It tools to optimize energy use, colour-matching, and performance.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
T.D & F.T: IGP’s The European powder coatings market is growing steadily. Estimates vary depending on source and what is counted (coatings alone vs. equipment etc.), but many forecasts suggest a growth rate of around 4% each year until 2030.
What can you tell us about market trends?
T.D & F.T: IGP’s Low cure powders and specialty powders (e.g. for corrosion protection) will likely grow faster than basic general coats. Greater integration of sustainability into the supply chain (from raw materials to the end product) is certainly a trend as well.
What are the most innovative products / services marketed?
T.D & F.T: IGP’s The edge of curing efficiency is reached with IGP-RAPID® range, a low cure system that is feasible even for wooden substrates and that recently includes an improved surface robustness to meet the requirements for furniture surfaces.
Even though application stability is important also for solid powder coatings, it becomes extraordinary important, when it comes to effect powder coatings. With the IGP-Effectives® technology, IGP Powder Coatings offers a superior solution that offers the highest technically possible stability in terms of application.
IGP Melted Metal is a superdurable product line with a novel, metal-like appearance providing a novel type of colour effect. IGP-DURA®sky, a product range with excellent stability to weathering. And finally, IGP-Reflectives adds the ability to reflect a larger amount of infrared light to our superdurable products providing the benefit of lower surface temperatures of the coated parts, which is especially important for dark colours that heat up quicker and higher.
With IGP ON TOUR, IGP Powder Coatings offers an innovative way of customer training that goes far beyond customer presentations. IGP ON TOUR provides our customers the opportunity to benefit from a fully equipped truck with more than 200 physical exhibits on board as well as motivated and experienced IGP powder coatings experts in an inspiring environment – without the need for customers to leave their company and thus saving travel time and expenses.
What estimations do you have for the second half of 2025?
T.D & F.T: IGP’s We expect a modest positive growth in the next six months. Industrial output has some signs of recovery, but there is still a lot of uncertainty in the market.
