Established in 1990, INTEGRASYS emerged from the collaboration between the Marquess of Antella and a team of Hewlett Packard engineers, dedicating their expertise to developing automated signal monitoring for government applications. Today, INTEGRASYS is a distinguished software development and engineering firm specializing in satellite network design, deployment, and maintenance, with a focus on defense and commercial sectors.
The company prioritizes innovation, offering intuitive interfaces and automation for swift and accurate operations, empowering not just technical experts but sales teams and junior operators.
Interview with Alvaro Sanchez, CEO of INTEGRASYS.
What core problem or operational challenge do your products/solutions solve that directly strengthens your clients’ competitive position?
Alvaro Sanchez: These days, many of our customers come from the defense sector, and they face significant challenges related to interference. Our solutions help them overcome these issues by eliminating interference, providing greater visibility into the spectrum environment, and delivering enhanced geospatial intelligence. This enables them to understand better what is happening, where it is happening, and how to respond effectively to emerging tensions.
In what ways do your technologies improve efficiency, productivity, or cost-effectiveness for clients compared to traditional or competing approaches?
A.S: Clients often compare our solutions with traditional approaches, and they quickly see that our products deliver capabilities they would otherwise lose or never have access to. It’s not just about having the technology — it’s about elevating and automating productivity, increasing speed, and expanding operational knowledge.
That’s why it’s critically important to rely on advanced tools such as AI-trained image recognition and image intelligence, as well as AI-enhanced signal intelligence and signal characterization. We offer a wide range of capabilities designed to address different challenges. Over the past 35 years, we have developed around 30 specialized solutions, each designed to solve a specific problem our customers face.
We are fully dedicated to supporting our customers and ensuring they have the tools they need to operate with confidence and efficiency.

How does your solution help clients respond more quickly to market changes, customer demands, or emerging industry trends?
A.S: Our roadmap is entirely driven by our customers’ needs. The SATCOM industry is evolving rapidly — from GEO to LEO, new satellite architectures, and now even direct-to-device services. Many customers find themselves disrupted by these emerging technologies, and that’s where we step in.
We support regulators in overseeing the D2D market, as well as the fast-growing NGSO segment, including LEO and MEO constellations that are transforming the industry — and will likely impact the broader telecom market in the years ahead.
Providing the regulatory tools needed to manage this new landscape effectively is a key part of what we deliver for our customers.
What unique features, capabilities, or innovations differentiate your product portfolio from competitors in your sector?
A.S: Our biggest differentiators are the speed and flexibility with which we develop and maintain our solutions. Innovation is at the core of who we are — over the past decade, we’ve received 10 innovation awards, each recognizing a different solution designed to address a specific challenge.
We are constantly looking ahead to identify the next problem our customers will face, so we can create the right solution before it becomes a barrier.
That’s how we consistently support and empower our customers.

How do you ensure that your product development roadmap stays aligned with your clients’ long-term strategic priorities and future competitiveness?
A.S: It’s simple: we start by asking our customers, Where are you headed? What is your market? Where do you see opportunities to work with us? Where could you benefit from greater efficiency, enhanced security, or new capabilities?
From their answers, we build our pipeline and let our customers guide our roadmap. This approach is critically important — today, with 150 customers worldwide, many are actively shaping our solutions and contributing to our mutual success.
By creating tailored solutions with their input, our customers can focus on their core business while leveraging tools specifically designed to meet their needs.
Can you share how your technologies contribute to improving the quality, reliability, or performance of your clients’ end products or operations?
A.S: Essentially, we provide APIs that enable significant automation and machine-to-machine integration, allowing our customers and integrators to build products on top of our solutions. We are highly flexible in adopting new standards and guidance, ensuring seamless integration with our customers’ workflows.
Quality is a cornerstone of our approach. We adhere to very high standards, including ISO 9001, NATO certifications, and many others, ensuring our solutions consistently meet the most demanding requirements.
Our systems are also renowned for their reliability — many have been operating since 1990 with virtually no interruptions, except in rare cases of hardware failure. Even then, we provide 24/7 hardware replacement, ensuring minimal downtime and uninterrupted service for our customers.
This combination of flexibility, quality, and reliability allows us to deliver robust, dependable solutions that keep our customers’ operations running smoothly.

Many industries focus on sustainability and regulatory compliance. How do you help clients meet these requirements while gaining an advantage?
A.S: Speed is crucial, and ensuring the sustainability of space operations is equally important — satellites must avoid collisions, and space traffic management needs to be precise.
We automate many processes, including communication with onboard modems and ensuring satellites operate safely and efficiently. We also make sure satellites transmit correctly and comply with all relevant regulations.
Before satellites even reach orbit, we support regulatory compliance through our technology called VeryFiling. This enables rapid filing and approval of regulatory licenses, allowing satellites to launch much faster than traditional methods — without relying on costly consultants.
The result is a highly optimized process that accelerates satellite deployment while maintaining safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
How does your company support clients after product delivery—through services, training, digital tools, or data insights—to maximize the competitive impact of your solutions?
A.S: We provide 24/7 “follow-the-sun” support through our offices worldwide, offering comprehensive services including technical support, warranty, training, and tutorials. We also provide recorded training to help teams with high turnover quickly get up to speed, ensuring that new staff are always prepared.
Our approach is highly flexible: we often provide on-site training and focus on creating systems that are easy to use. Managing a satellite network doesn’t require a PhD — a trained technician can operate and maintain our systems efficiently. This reduces both training time and support needs, while empowering customers to manage operations themselves if they choose.
At the same time, we remain proactive, providing updates aligned with our customers’ roadmaps and supporting their past, present, and future business needs.

What role do digitalization, automation, or data analytics in your solutions play in helping clients optimize their operations or decision-making processes?
A.S: Some of our products leverage artificial intelligence to optimize satellite communications by routing traffic through the best available path. One example is BestPath, which automates communication routing via satellites, while products like VirSat enable the digitalization of signals, converting IQ data into IP and incorporating advanced data analytics to characterize signals.
Our solutions are highly adaptable, offering a range of models that combine digitalization, automation, and AI-driven analytics to help customers maximize operational efficiency and reduce costs. Each solution is tailored to meet specific needs, ensuring that our clients can operate smarter, faster, and more efficiently.
Can you provide examples of measurable client outcomes, such as reduced downtime or cost savings, that demonstrate the competitive value of your solutions?
A.S: Many of our customers, particularly in the defense sector, used to experience significant downtime — often 50–75% of the time — due to interference and operating in conflict areas. With our solutions, some of these customers have reduced downtime by up to 95%, making a dramatic difference in their operations.
Where previously the network could not be relied upon, it is now reliable, resilient, and optimized. We are extremely proud of this impact, and it was recently recognized when we received the Better Satellite World Award for technology that improves lives and enhances the safety of warfighters on the battlefield.
