Interview with Vincenzo Marco Pecorella, CEO of Lilybaeum Yacht SRL.
What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Vincenzo Marco Pecorella: We are primarily focused on the design, construction, and international distribution of luxury leisure boats. Our activities span from in-house design and prototyping to after-sales services, dealer network development, and participation in major European and international boat shows.
What’s the news about new products/services?
V.M.P: We recently launched our new 31-foot model – Lipari 31 – which has been very well received by the market. It is a versatile, high-end boat available in both outboard and inboard versions, with a strong emphasis on comfort, innovative layout solutions, and open-air livability. We’re also expanding our electric propulsion research with our Levanzo E-Concept model.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
V.M.P: We’re currently active across Europe and are expanding into the United States and selected non-EU markets. The market has shown strong interest in premium, medium-sized boats that combine design, efficiency, and multi-functional spaces. Despite general global uncertainty, demand in the recreational boating sector remains solid.
What can you tell us about market trends?
V.M.P: Clients are increasingly looking for versatile boats that offer both day cruising and overnight capabilities. There’s a growing demand for smart, sustainable solutions – including electric or hybrid propulsion – as well as a preference for distinctive design and premium materials. Personalization is no longer a luxury, but an expectation.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
V.M.P: The Lipari 31 represents our most innovative platform, offering a modular layout that transforms seamlessly from a sunbathing space to a dining area, both fore and aft. Its hull design offers superior stability and performance. The Levanzo E-Concept is another milestone in innovation, embracing sustainability without compromising style or functionality.
What estimations do you have for the second half of 2025?
V.M.P: We expect continued growth, particularly in international markets like the U.S., France, and Northern Europe. With a limited yet refined production capacity, our focus is on strategic partnerships with qualified dealers and developing exclusive models tailored to emerging market needs. We forecast an increase in production volumes by approximately 30% in H2 2025 compared to the previous year.
