Falco Vile: Whether it is an office, restaurant or public space, everyone has experienced it: a beautifully decorated space where it is impossible to have a conversation. This is especially known for ‘open plan offices’ in which hard and smooth materials have been incorporated. Colleagues on the phone, spontaneous consultation between office workers, equipment that is switched on: employees have to endure a lot of noise in the workplace.
E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?
F.V: With a growing demand for acoustic solutions, especially in the realm of lighting, we’ve seen a significant uptick in interest. Our new products seamlessly blend cutting-edge acoustics with innovative lighting design, catering to the evolving needs of modern environments. E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?
F.V: We have been solving acoustic challenges since 2008. With lumenear, our acoustic lighting brand, we focus only on high quality lighting with great sound absorbing characteristics.
We do this mainly with PET Felt, a sustainable acoustic material. PET Felt offers the perfect solution for the design and production of our acoustic lighting collection for several reasons. It is acoustic, soft, strong and durable and thanks to these properties it is easy to process and applicable for our collection of acoustic lighting.
E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
F.V: In today’s market, the demand for privacy and effective sound management is booming. People crave spaces that offer both tranquility and functionality, leading to a surge in interest for acoustic products. Additionally, there’s a growing appreciation for quality lighting, as it can significantly impact mood and productivity.
