Interview with Eric Deng, General Manager of Sigenergy Eastern Europe Region

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Eric Deng: Sigenergy specializes in PV (photovoltaic) – related energy solutions—we don’t just help users harness solar power, but also integrate it with smart storage, charging, and management tools to make energy use more efficient, safe, and user – friendly. Our core business covers two key areas: residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) markets.

For residential users, we focus on all – in – one systems that turn solar energy into a hassle – free experience. These solutions combine PV power utilization, battery storage, and EV charging in one integrated setup, and even let electric vehicles power homes (via V2X tech). Plus, AI is built in to match users’ daily energy habits, making the system run smarter without extra effort.

For C&I clients, where stable power and safety are non – negotiable, our offerings (like modular large – scale storage systems and energy gateways) deliver top – tier security and zero power disruption—even for high – demand, megawatt – scale operations. They’re also designed to be easy to operate, with AI optimizing energy use to boost efficiency, all while working seamlessly with PV setups.

What’s the news about new products/services?

E.D: This year, we’ve rolled out key new offerings that emphasize integration, safety, user-friendliness, and AI integration:

  • First, SigenMicro—a next-gen microinverter with built-in energy management (EMS) and seamless integration into the SigenStor ecosystem. Its AI-powered WLAN Mesh boosts connectivity by 1,600% with fast self-healing, ensuring reliable, easy operation.
  • We also launched a new C&I hybrid inverter: it integrates backup ports and energy gateways, allowing parallel operation without extra hardware for safe, uninterrupted power—critical for micro-grids and mission-critical sites.
  • Finally, SigenCare, our upgraded AI-driven service system. Unlike reactive after-sales, it proactively monitors system health 24/7, predicts issues, and optimizes performance via our smart hardware and cloud platform—keeping operations transparent, reliable, and user-centric.

What are the ranges of products/services?

E.D: To empower the renewable-energy transition with advanced, future-ready technology, we offers comprehensive portfolio of residential and commercial-industrial (C&I) solutions.

SigenStor: A 5-in-1 energy-storage system integrating a solar inverter, EV DC charger, battery PCS, battery pack, and EMS into a single modular, scalable device for both residential and C&I applications.

SigenStack: A modular commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage solution. It comprises a hybrid inverter and battery pack. The inverter series offers various power ranges, all ready to be connected to the battery. It features a fully modular design, with each battery module having a capacity of 12 kWh, allowing for the installation of 4-7 batteries in one stack. By connecting multiple stacks, a single inverter can connect up to 21 battery modules to provide 250kWh capacity. By that, multiple inverters and energy storage systems can be connected for flexible expansion, supporting multi-megawatt projects.

Sigen Hybrid Inverter: Second-generation residential hybrid inverter with industry-leading 99% efficiency (three-phase), 200% peak off-grid output, a fan-less 99 mm design, and quiet operation below 25 dB. IP66-rated for reliable performance from –30 °C to 60 °C.

SigenMicro Inverter: Combines patented DAB topology, the industry’s first built-in EMS, and an IP67 rating. Its WLAN Mesh architecture extends communication coverage by 1,600% and enables self-healing within 150 ms for rapid, reliable installation and commissioning.

Energy Gateway: Expanding on the existing home versions, C600 and C1200 models, the new Sigen Gateway C1600, C2000, and C2400 deliver higher power capacity and seamless on- and off-grid switching, ideal for large micro-grid applications.

mySigen App: A smart energy-management platform giving homeowners and installers real-time control and visibility over energy generation and consumption. Powered by AI, it provides personalized optimization, improves system performance, maximizes ROI, and delivers an intuitive user experience.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

E.D: In the residential sector, users increasingly seek intelligent, all-in-one systems that make energy management simpler and smarter. Our SigenStor exemplifies this trend, combining advanced integration with V2X capability, allowing electric vehicles to power homes or feed energy back to the grid.

In the commercial and industrial segment, safety and reliability are top priorities. We address these with innovative solutions such as SigenStack, the industry’s first truly modular large-scale C&I storage system, and its energy gateways, which ensure uninterrupted power supply, 0-millisecond load-side disruption even at megawatt scale.

What can you tell us about market trends?

E.D: As solar power becomes more affordable, the industry is shifting its focus from simply generating energy to storing and managing it intelligently. Energy storage has become essential for stabilizing the grid, balancing supply and demand, and enabling true energy independence.

Looking ahead, the future of energy lies in intelligence. AI will transform how energy systems operate-predicting solar generation, optimizing when to charge or discharge batteries, and detecting issues before they occur. With AI-driven integration of “PV + storage + charging,” energy systems will become smarter, more efficient, and more user-friendly, driving the next leap in renewable innovation.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

E.D: Sigenergy’s innovation centers on system integration and AI intelligence. Three highlights include:

  • SigenStor: The world’s first 5-in-1 energy system combining a solar inverter, EV charger, battery PCS, battery pack, and EMS in one stackable unit.
  • SigenStack: A high-performance C&I solution featuring six-layer protection and 0 ms load-side disruption for uninterrupted operation.
  • mySigen App: An AI-driven platform analyzing user habits, forecasting solar yield, and optimizing performance for maximum efficiency and insight.

Our AI mode has already proven its worth in a recent 10-month UK case study. A SigenStor user routinely saved up to 44.6 % on monthly bills by letting the algorithm buy, store and sell electrons around dynamic tariffs—while the homeowner did nothing.

What estimations do you have for the end of 2025?

E.D: In October, Sigenergy inaugurated its new global headquarters in Shanghai, establishing a central base for technology innovation, strategic management, and international operations. The site marks a new phase in Sigenergy’s global expansion.

In August, the company celebrated the topping-out of its smart manufacturing hub in eastern China, a key milestone toward mass production. The facility is scheduled to begin operation by the end of 2025, significantly expanding Sigenergy’s global manufacturing capacity.

With strong market momentum and expanding infrastructure, Sigenergy is on track to achieve new revenue milestones by the end of 2025, further solidifying its leadership in the global smart energy sector.
