Skyjack offers a new range of battery-powered electric rough terrain articulated booms that have been developed to provide a clean, quiet, sustainable rental solution with no emissions, lower operating costs, and increased utilization. Available with 15.7 m (51 ft) and 20.1 m (66 ft) working heights, and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the SJ45 AJE+ and SJ60 AJE+ models include many of the design features that the rental industry and leading contractors have come to expect from Skyjack. High performance AC electric traction and pump motors deliver high torque power and consistent multi-function capability.
The new articulated booms can reach capacities up to 454 kg (1000 lbs) and are supported with integrated load sensing technology. 3 people can work productively on the platform, while lights on control box indicate capacity zone, based on weight and position. Skyjack’s articulated boom lifts exclusively feature EASYDRIVETM, an intuitive direction sensing function that allows the machine to move in the general direction of the joystick’s movement in accordance with the orientation of the turret’s counterweight over the chassis. This means no need for chassis arrows that can easily be obscured by dirt and debris. SKYRISER™ technology ensures that the riser and main pivot point connecting the fly boom to the riser travel in a straight vertical line. Movement in a true vertical manner, without drifting forward or back, reduces the amount of repositioning the operator needs to do in order to stay close to a building facade, improving productivity.
