Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
VALDINOX: VALDINOX is highly sopecikaliazed in the design and production of steel cable trays and particularly wire mesh cable trays. An important part of our products are used in industrial plants, buildings and critical infrastructures, like data centres, hospitals or energy plants, particularly roof-top photovoltaic installations.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
VALDINOX: Working closely with our distributors, customers and end-users help us to develop and improve supports and accessories for cable trays to turn them into more reliable, easy to install and efficient products. We have issued new products oriented to data centres and roof-top solar panel installations.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
VALDINOX: The market for cable trays is a quite mature one, however there are significant opportunities for easy-to-install products which help to reduce the environmental impact and the cost of installations. The design and production of all our products foster these characteristics.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
VALDINOX: Well, our EASYCONNECT BASKET TRAY, patented and launched in 2012 almost 10 years ago, continue to be the most reliable, efficient and fastest cable basket tray available in the market nowadays. The unique self-coupling system of EASYCONNECT basket trays provides resistance and safety in 1 click, and eliminates fixing accessories to reduce water waste and CO2 emissions.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?
VALDINOX: We will continue working to reinforce our presence and brand in Europe and the Americas. Despite the high level of incertitude we are living in today, the increasing costs of materials, the collapse of international maritime transport and the high costs of energy in Europe, to mention the most significant issues, the willingness to return to a normal life, to overcome the consequences of the pandemic and to build a better future is in the human nature. Facing these challenges of a new era with a rational and ethical approach will be key in the future of keeping democracies and open societies.
