Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Variety of industries and markets, including bakery, protein, pet food, cheese, produce, agriculture, and many more.
E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?
To continuously meet and exceed the needs of our customers, we invest heavily in product development and made it a priority. This year alone, we’ve launched a new flow wrapper, the Hayssen R300, and will launch the Thiele UltraStar G2 Bag Filler and the Symach 3500S palletizer later this year. Each designed with user-friendliness and OEE optimization in mind. Standardized and streamlined improvements, HMI-guided changeovers, ease of onboarding, and many other innovations were central to the development.

E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
There are a variety of challenges affecting everyone- from parts or supply chain, labor shortages, and more, but we are a company where the teams come together to ensure we pick up and support each other as needed, meaning we are able to support and drive collaboration and finding solutions. We’re not just flexible in our packaging materials, but also in how we approach challenges and solve them to offer our customers a reliable and effective solution.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
Though sustainability is at the forefront of the conversations, it seems that often food manufacturers are hesitant to invest in sustainable solutions. Often times, the same speeds cannot be met with different materials, so it’s a logical business decision. Ultimately, if we don’t continue trying and developing, we will not find the ideal solution, so we are committed to providing our customers what they want and guiding and supporting them as needed.
E.E: What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
More often than not, people expect innovations to be ground-breaking, so often small incremental changes are overlooked when it comes to innovation. Our Hayssen R300 is all about the little things. This machine has at its forefront of its priorities ease of use, ease of cleaning, downtime prevention, and robustness. Ranging from how product is fed into the wrapper, fault recovery, product setup, how changeovers are executed, and how quickly inexperienced personnel can be onboarded. This machine provides a series of small but incredibly effective changes to the entry-level flow wrapper equipment that changes the conversation of what entry-level manufacturers should expect. With this machine, we are redefining the limits of expectations of small manufactures and streamline the path of growth and opportunity for them.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2024?
Though the world is not short of interesting and challenging situations, we are optimistic for our business, the industry, and the world. If we continuously work on working together better and making each other’s lives easier, we will make progress and improvements. We should always remember to let the expectation of perfection not get in the way of progress.
