These include more than 15,000 parts for Komatsu construction machines, over 16,000 parts for Yanmar/Schaeff and other well-known manufacturers such as Volvo, Liebherr, Takeuchi, Hitachi and Doosan. With over 45 suppliers, the company’s product range is diverse and very well positioned. klickparts has access to the entire ZF and Würth product portfolio as well as workshop and maintenance products from USCO/ITR, to name just a few examples.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Klickparts: The wide range of products offered by klickparts is interesting for companies of all sizes, both for larger construction companies with their own workshops and fitters as well as for small to medium-sized businesses, such as in the gardening and landscaping sector, who may still be working on their own machines themselves.
The special thing about klickparts is that even the unregistered user has a complete overview. The customer immediately sees if the spare part fits into his machine and what it costs. This is unique in the industry.
In addition, different quality standards are clearly displayed, so the user has the choice between the original spare part, a product from the supplier or a low-priced replica.
It can be searched in the webshop for device type, construction machinery manufacturer, the corresponding product, article or product number. Great importance was attached to the simple and intuitive handling, which hardly differs from a normal consumer shop such as Amazon.

E.E: What’s the news for 2020 about new products?
Klickparts: Just within six months klickparts has increased its product portfolio tenfold. The company intends to continue on this path of continuously rounding off, enlarging and expanding its range o goods.
E.E: What are the ranges of traded products?
Klickparts: In general, the company initially focused on the segment with the highest population on the German market and defined this as the target group. In principle, these were the compact machines. After all, of the 250,000 or so machines available in Germany, around 200,000 are compact machines and devices under ten tons. At the beginning, the portfolio was therfore very strongly focused towards this segment. And the most important products for this are maintenance and wear products, such as filters or filter kits. At klickparts, customers can order a complete filter kit for their inspection with just one click and do not have to laboriously search for each individual filter.
Now, with a portfolio of more than 120,000 articles, klickparts is of course much broader. Meanwhile, repair parts such as ZF axle parts are available at klickparts.com. Suppliers like USCO/ITR cover the entire spectrum of Volvo, Komatsu or Liebherr in the area of undercarriages or repair parts.
This means that the customer can order everything from a single washer or seal to a complete drive from a single source at klickparts. For axles, there are also detailed exploded drawings on which the complex components are shown exactly. This makes it easy to order the complete axle, the corresponding assembly or the desired individual part in the required quantity.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
Klickparts: With our offer to provide repair parts and maintenance products for construction machines of different makes, klickparts is breaking new ground. Absolutely new and unique is also the transparency. The different quality levels, the cross references – i.e. which spare part fits into which machine – and last but not least the prices are clearly displayed, even for users who are not logged in.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
Klickparts: The overall market trend we see is that users demand more transparency in quality and price of each product. We focus on that features by building up a huge product database. In the near future it will be able for users to compare all important attributes such as price, quality, performance etc. of one product with others. Moreover we will actively offer alternatives in quality and price.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
Klickparts: Our goal is to offer a huge range of products needed for a perfect maintenance of your machinery. It is not the product itself which is innovative further that price and quality is transparent shown to users at any time and the purchase online at the same time. Due to German market standard prices are not shown or registration is needed or you have to call an agent to buy the product.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2020?
Klickparts: Klickparts is clearly growth-oriented, but the company wants to grow quantitatively and qualitatively. Already in the medium term, the product portfolio will more than doubled and more and more suppliers and manufacturers will be included in the online shop. The aim is to build up a broad customer base and to become a “one-stop shop”, so to speak, for spare parts and maintenance products for construction machinery of all sizes and makes. In this context, services related to spare parts will also be expanded step by step. In addition, klickparts also wants to grow into other European countries.
