SAIZAR Strapping Machines is a company located in Northern Spain and it is specialized in the design, manufacturing and supply of all kind of Automatic Strapping Machines, Strapping Lines and Packaging Lines worldwide taking into account the customer’s needs as well as their production plant’s circumstances, in order to offer a customized solution that satisfies their needs.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
SAIZAR: We mainly work for the steel industry supplying strapping solutions, being able to adapt our equipment to any type of material that the client may have at its production plant such as wire coils, wire rod coils, different bundles, slit coils, etc. However, not only we are focused on the steel industry, but also, we also offer solutions for the agricultural, lumber and construction industries.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
SAIZAR: Although we are working on offering always innovative and customized solutions to the client, currently, we are working on different projects which require the possibility to work with combined strapping heads, in other words, different materials can be strapped with steel strap as well as with PET strap.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
SAIZAR: The product range that we manufacture and offer is the following one:
- Automatic Strapping Machines of PET strap of 16, 19, 25 and 32mm
- Automatic Strapping Machines of PET strap of 16, 19, 25 and 32mm
- Automatic Strapping Lines.
- Automatic Packaging Lines.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
SAIZAR: During the last year, even if this new strapping market’s stage is in growth, the current market of the steel industry has reactivated after the imminent stop due to COVID-19 in 2020, and has increased considerably. We can observe this matter as we are currently with a great load of work of different projects from many countries all around the world.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
SAIZAR: As far as we are concerned, we expect that the market will tend to positively grow even more in the following year, because many companies are working on different investments related to strapping and packaging. These potential clients have the need to automate the mentioned process, as nowadays many manual applications are integrated in many plants, where the Operator’s availability is required.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
SAIZAR: Given that the solutions that we manufacture are not the same machine as another one at SAIZAR Strapping Machines, due to the fact that each client’s requirements are different and we have to adapt to their needs, we always supply the most innovative and customized solution to our customers. Indeed, the most innovative and challenging projects are usually the ones where the client requires to install the strapping process or even with other processes such as the introduction of additional elements like O-Rings, cardboard protectors, labels, etc. in a reduced space.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?
SAIZAR: Regarding the year 2022, we expect to increase even more our sales in comparison with last year, as we are receiving numerous enquiries from many different clients all around the world. Additionally, because of the demand that we are receiving, SAIZAR is building a new industrial pavilion next to the current one, which will have an approximate surface of 3.000m2, so that we provide a better service to our clients and work on different projects that we are emerged with greater accessibility and availability of space.
