For the first time, PTV Group is part of the New Mobility World exhibition at booth B27. From 12 September until 17 September 2017, the leading software technology company for traffic, transport and logistics present their Mobility as a Service (MaaS) Accelerator Program, which calculates business cases from the planning stage to the real-time operating phase. PTV MaaS Modeller is the first of four components, to turn shared on-demand fleet services into successful business models for cities and automotive companies. Meeting the growing demand for mobility services with a minimum number of vehicles is key to cut congestion and air pollution improving the quality of life in cities. But before integrating a shared fleet into an existing infrastructure of public transportation, the use case needs to be fully analysed and modelled: future MaaS providers want to know how many vehicles are required to run and maintain the service within a public transport network.
