A brief description of the company and its activities.
Stefania Pastorello: Rimoldi & CF wants to be the company always offering high quality and “Made in Italy”solutions all over the world for Industrial sewing machines, attachments, spare parts, consultancy-, start-up- and training services.
We are located at Gallarate, just a few minutes from Malpensa Airport and we have a complete vertical production cycle further than show room, warehouse, commercial and administrative offices.
All our Rimoldi machines are strictly “made in Italy” and suitable for all production fields:
- underwear, bathing suits, sportswear, panty hoses, shirts, hosiery, jeans, casualwear, t-shirts, polo shirts, seamless, working suits etc.
We are appreciated and famous for our “turn-key” projects, being able to organize the production plants with our machines assuring start up and training for workers, made by skilled technicians and production line trainers.
We assure to the customers a complete” Service Package” made of: consultancy, high quality “made in Italy” sewing machines, always prepared following customers’ requirements, using their fabrics and threads for tests, always delivered “ready-to-be-plugged in”. We do not consider the shipment as the final step of a business but the beginning of a steady and long lasting cooperation.
Our after-sale service is also very important for us. Our customers always find what it is necessary to proceed with a good maintenance of their machines and for this reason, we keep on stock thousands of spare parts of our production, either for new or for old and obsolete Rimoldi machines.
We always recommend using genuine spare parts as they only guarantee a long life to Rimoldi sewing machines and because the difference in price is so few that a bogus part cannot compete with the genuine one. We have a specific division producing attachments; we keep a large stock for standard items but we can also produce special and tailor-made folders and binders to meet with our customers’ requirements perfectly, in few days.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?
S.P: We are specialized in the production of industrial sewing machines, but in recent years we have become a point of reference for the textile sector in general. We have excellent relationships with Governments around the world, where we present ourselves as a prime contractor for the supply of 360-degree textile products: cutting rooms, industrial ironing, shoe production (military and otherwise), industrial laundry etc…
Our reputation and our professionalism allow us to be a point of reference for global textile production.
What’s the news about new products/services?
S.P: We filed a patent in 2022 for the new 4-needle machine model 183/F84 which we have re-engineered (new 283 and 284), simplifying the mechanics and operation for the end customer, also making the machine eco-sustainable as it is oil free in the upper part.
These machines will be the point of reference throughout the world for the production of seamless, socks and panty hoses, jeans, medical etc…
All this will allow us to also enter the green field of mechanical production.
Alongside this, we have set up a production line only for the re-built of Rimoldi machines, at lower prices with a ten-year duration which will also allow the company to qualify for an ESG certification.
What are the ranges of products/services?
S.P: Our range of products is very vast, we range from our production to the marketing of all global textile brands at competitive prices thanks also to partnerships with very important global companies in the sector.
We try to represent the true Made in Italy by being supported by Italian companies in the textile sector at 360 degrees.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
S.P: 2024 is truly a very complicated year for the entire textile sector, from garments to leather goods and footwear production.
The luxury market, which is our reference market, is experiencing a significant slowdown in sales and this will put the textile sector to the test.
The forecasts for 2025 are not good, Europe and the rest of the world, also due to the continuous wars, face very difficult challenges.
