The main areas of activity of the company involve Design, Manufacturing and Quality inspection.
The Design process includes data acquisition where we utilise high performance laser scanning equipment. Data is transferred into 3D CAD computer software where Finite Element Analysis is used to replicate real world stresses experienced by the component. We then 3D print the component part to produce a prototype which enables us to verify designs for form, fit and function prior to full-scale production.
The Manufacturing process involves using a wide range of multi axis CNC machining services. We have a highly skilled, flexible workforce that is operational to maximise the application of resources. We utilise horizontal multi-pallet milling, vertical milling and turning centre capabilities with a single shift capacity of 30,000 castings.
Our Quality inspection department operates a system accredited to the latest BS EN ISO 9001:2015 standard. By using a Coordinate Measurement Machine, contact scanning and PC-DMIS CAD++ CMM Software, we carry out complete component inspection and provide detailed CMM reports in a tailored format utilising data taken directly from the CAD. Techni aims to provide defect-free components to our customers and we pride ourselves in our constantly high Quality Right First Time performance.
What’s the news about new products/services?
We consistently release compressor mount kits for a wide variety of vehicles in the market. We recently released two compressor mount kits for a Ford Transit / Volkswagen Transporter and we are currently in the process of creating compressor mount kits for a Maxus Deliver 9.

We produce compressor mount brackets for a large variety of manufacturers and their vehicles. What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
Customer feedback suggests that we are just starting to emerge from what has been a relatively flat period for vehicle sales. Customers have been unwilling to commit to new vehicles due to several factors such as world economics and financial uncertainty in the market.

We supply on a global level and are seeing increased demand for our product from the Middle East.

The most innovative offering is our ability to design and manufacture projects from start to finish with complete control around customer demands. We have the capability to follow bespoke projects from start to finish, having our own in-house team of professionals in Design, Engineering and Quality departments.

We expect the market to pick up, large fleets will be reaching the end of their contracts and they will be coming back up to tender.
