KREISEL is an expert in the field of bulk material handling. Tailor-made conveying systems from storage silos to pneumatic conveying and dedusting systems are available from a single source.
According to your performance parameters and technical requirements, KREISEL plans, designs, manufactures and delivers the plant components. Their service team assembles the components at their destination, including final commissioning.
Interview with Wolfram Kreisel, Managing Partner at KREISEL.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Wolfram Kreisel: We work on projects in the field of bulk material handling with mechanical and pneumatic conveyor systems for new systems or when optimizing existing systems.
Here mostly in the building materials industry and the chemical industry and other industrial applications.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
W.K: One of our product highlights 2023 is our innovative, optimized high-pressure rotary valve with new improved wear protection. This rotary valve is mainly used for insertion for the feeding of bulk materials into pressurized conveying lines.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
W.K: The KREISEL product range extends from the planning and construction of complete pneumatic conveying systems to professional components such as rotary valves, screw feeders or dome valves. The service and assembly of our products complete our program.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
W.K: The market has been shaken a bit by the recent crises. There is a certain uncertainty. However, for us there is a very good demand situation for our solutions, especially if they result in energy savings and reductions in carbon dioxide emissions.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
W.K: One trend is the display of special services. For example, offering responsibility for the entire life cycle of a machine or even a complete system. Supported with condition monitoring for predictive maintenance.
All solutions that take material cycles into account and lead to a better CO2 footprint in the long term are very welcome on the customer side.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
W.K: Due to technological progress and its innovative design, the KREISEL high-pressure rotary valve is able to replace the previously common single-feed systems such as screw pumps or pressure vessel systems in a highly profitable way.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?
W.K: Despite various risks and uncertainties, we will continue to grow this year. Due to our very long company history (111 years), we rely on many regular customers for plant expansions and spare parts. In addition, we are diversifying into the concrete industry and strengthening the areas of engineering and service.
