What’s the news about new products/services?

At ACCUPOWER, we continuously innovate and develop new products, primarily due to our focus on prototyping. Currently, we are developing the AMEX LITE, a more compact version of the conventional Accumotion Extender. Like the AMEX (Short for Accumotion Extender), the AMEX LITE is designed to function without interruptions. This is achieved by using multiple batteries that can be swapped during operation, ensuring continuous performance and reliability for critical applications. 

What are the ranges of products/services?

Our product range extends from conventional lithium-ion or iron phosphate batteries to nickel or sodium batteries. We are constantly evolving to offer our customers the ideal solution for their projects. In project execution, we support the customer from prototype to mass production. The software is also specially developed according to customer requirements at our facility. We place particular emphasis on custom protection electronics, ensuring worry-free safety for every battery. Each newly developed battery’s protection electronics are specifically tailored to its structure and configuration.

Currently, lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries dominate the market due to their high energy density. However, sustainability and fire safety concerns drive research into alternative materials. The trend is moving towards sustainable solutions that can match or exceed the performance of LiFePO4 batteries, with a focus on eco-friendly and efficient energy storage options that maintain high performance and safety standards. Additionally, there is a growing emphasis on recycling and reusing battery components to further enhance sustainability.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

One of our most innovative products is the AMEX+, specifically developed for exhaust emission testing in the automotive industry. This battery system is designed to run continuously for several hours, and it allows for battery swapping during operation. This feature ensures uninterrupted testing, making it highly efficient and reliable for critical automotive testing environments. 

Another notable innovation is a lithium-ion battery system for a Segway-based wheelchair. This medical device is crucial for users who depend on the wheelchair’s functionality. The battery incorporates the latest protection electronics with three safety levels to ensure it operates safely and reliably. Additionally, the specially designed, fanless, and silent chargers prevent overheating and ensure quiet operation, making it ideal for indoor use.
