Interview with Erwin Penzes, Managing Director at CFCAI.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Erwin Penzes: Design, manufacturing and installation of post-harvest technologies: grain dryers, cleaners, sorters and graders.

What’s the news about new products/services?

E.P: We launched in 2024 a new range of MAROT grain cleaners.

What are the ranges of products/services?

E.P: SATIG grain dryers

1,000 to 6,000 tons/24H capacity

Satig dryers have been acclaimed for their engineering excellence and performance. Satig is first and foremost a well-tried technology that achieves better drying uniformity thanks to its fully automated control system that can reduce inlet moisture variations by up to 2.5 points.

The same dryer can dry up to 200 tph of 25% to 15% moisture corn at a drying temperature between 120° and 100°C or 120 tph of 35% to 15% moisture corn at a drying temperature between 120° and 100°C.

LAW grain dryers

For over 40 years, LAW cereal dryers have been a linchpin of innovative processes that provide populations with access to food.

MAROT rotary cleaners

Throughout farming history, tools and processes have been continuously developed to optimize grain sorting and cleaning processes. MAROT has been a player in the industry for over 150 years. Grain cleaning and sorting specialist MAROT specifically owes its reputation to its unique rotary grain cleaner, used across the agro-industrial markets in Europe and worldwide.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

E.P: Investments in France (our domestic market) and Europe do not reach expectation in 2024, however coops, farmers and investors continue to maintain their existing facilities, we see a good level of repairs and maintenance, where our company has proven to offer good expertise and services.

What can you tell us about market trends?

E.P: After 2023 and 2024 being relatively weak in terms of new investments, we foresee an increasing demand in 2025 and 2026 for new installations.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

E.P: Services related to 4.0 technology is more and more used on our machines across the world.

What estimations do you have for 2024?

E.P: Same level of business as 2023.
