DR. JAGLAS – FROM THE MONASTERY PHARMACY TO THE TASTE EXPERIENCE

Dr. Jaglas is a Berlin based pharmacy label. For decades, the Jagla family of pharmacists has been using medieval monastery recipes, classic compendiums and traditional herbal medicine to develop and manufacture high-percentage but also non-alcoholic herbal spirits. The pharmacists macerate these carefully matured specialties (some of them still by hand today) from selected. Bitter herbs, fine spices, and essential oils.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Christina Jagla: They focus on non-alcoholic an high percentage herbal liquors with the highest quality standards.

What’s the news about new products/services?

C.J: They invented one of the first non alcoholic alternatives to “Limoncello” and “Aperol” to enjoy non alcoholic “spritz” drinks.

What are the ranges of products/services?

C.J: 2 non alcoholic aperitifs: San Limello and Herber Hibiskus. You can drink them with tonic water in a long drink.

3 herbal bitters (35%vol): Artischocken-Elixier, Golfers Ginseng-Elixier, Maca Ginseng-Elixier. You can drink them pure or with tonic water.

2 sweet liquers (25%vol) Glühweinkräuter-Elixier, Apfel Malven-Elixier. You drink them pure or with sparkling wine.

Sugar free Ginseng Gin (50%vol): Dry GIN-seng Gin. You can drink it pure or with tonic water

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

C.J: We have an own online-shop and export worldwide to restaurants, bars, concept stores and delis.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

C.J: Non alcoholic alternatives.
