Amber Valley was founded in 1994 by Managing Director David Morewood. David had already been working in the motor trade for over 20 years and with his wealth of experience, decided to branch out on his own and Amber Valley was born! Amber Valley was founded in the Derbyshire County of “Amber Valley” and as the business grew and grew eventually relocated to nearby Leicestershire where it remains today.
It now spans over 6 divisional buildings and continues to rapidly grow!
In the beginning our brand was a range of reverse alarms. Now widely known for their authentic Amber colour, our infamous “narrowback” alarm was created! To this day it continues to be a popular staple in the Amber Valley brand
From there, we have continued to diversify and design and produce hundreds of varying product lines including our vast range of talking alarms. To date, we have over 1000 niche messages in our database and own brand products for countless OEM’s and large fleets.
As a UK manufacturer for nearly 30 years, Amber Valley have designed, tooled and manufactured hundreds of bespoke products for just about every sector. Amber Valley now manufacture and stock a wide range of LED lighting, battery management equipment blindspot detection equipment, (including Direct Vision Standard kits) and a range of engine management equipment and towing products to name but a few!
