TIMATEC has been building special machines since the year 2000. First for the paper and cardboard industry and then in the textile industry too.
With their systems, the company produces special coatings with magnetic system of up to very low around 5 to max. 300 gsm at different viscosities depending on the task. TIMATEC also has rotary screen printing machines with magnet systems available at the in big range till 3,5 m working width at different Rapports.
There are a number of patents for these special products at TIMATEC.
Now for the EPS industry, special machines for the underfloor heating are also in use, but the adhesive is hot melt and is applied at 180 degrees C. From such special coating or laminating system (2 pieces are also in RO) and together with the block press for a better quality of sheets – are also patentes available.

The EPS goods that are processed using the block presses have enormous qualitative advantages because the insulation goods for house facades and also for the floor no longer have shrinkage properties and remain stable.
The enormous advantage is that good impact sound quality is achieved by pressing the raw material. However, these quality regulations are not yet officially prescribed in RO, but in many European countries this quality is already mandatory and EPS goods can only be installed with this improved panel quality.
What’s the news about new products/services?
Something very important and new about this underfloor heating system “TACKER” is the inexpensive and quick installation system and as an additional enormous advantage the energy saving measures.
We only heat with a flow temperature of 28 degrees, normally with conventional radiators with oil or gas it is 70 or 80 degrees C but this heat isonly in the radiators, it is not surface heating only a spot heating in a room. Full surface heating systems is only available with underfloor or wall heating with a much better room heat distribution and only of 1,2 m hight you have a cool head – better feelings.
What are the ranges of products/services?
Develop mechanical engineering and a concept specifically for the customers. Set up machines and start the production with the customer and provide support.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
Energy saving measures are an important area. The EU even promotes house insulation and these new heating methods with low energy consumption on the floors. Heating systems can also be supported by PV systems – free electricity.
What can you tell us about market trends?
We are right on trend when it comes to insulation measures, especially now with energy costs so high.
What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
You should ask the market; we can only offer and build systems that take the market requirements into account and low costs are also important factors.
We meet all of this through simple assembly of the hoses and the low Energy consumption during operation.
Ask HIRSCH in St. Georges or OLSTRAL in Brasov. We have already installed a total of 13 laminating systems throughout Europe.
We produce EPS insulation material for installation in different thicknesses from 20 – 50 mm in roll form with 10 m, sandwich 2m2 and single panels 1m2 and do around 700 m2 per hour or 5,000 to 6,000 m2 in one shift.

The trend towards energy saving measures continues and is also supported by the government.
