Wolfgang Teubert: Innovation is an essential part of our company’s mission statement. Which are the most significant projects from 2023?
W.T: Among the most significant projects in 2023 were the complete automation of the largest EPP processing machine, the delivery of the first fully automated machine cells, and the development of new AI-based software solutions.
What projects were the most challenging?
W.T: Automating the largest EPP processing machine posed significant challenges, as we had to handle very large and heavy inserts and finished parts. This required innovative approaches and customized solutions.
What products/solutions were used in the projects?
W.T: These projects utilized large robots from Yaskawa and ABB, with a payload capacity of up to 550 kg and a weight of nearly 4.5 tons.
What are the usual challenges you encounter?
