P2P2 is a software company, founded in Warsaw and operating on the Polish market and several European markets for over 13 years. The main area of the activity is the development of software for optimizing working time, generating savings and increasing the efficiency of employees and processes. The pillar of P2P2 is a team of experienced programmers and implementers. It’s a thriving, effective mix. The implementation team actively analyzes the needs of our clients, and the development team implements them on an ongoing basis. That is why the software they offer has such a practical, measurable application in business. In addition, P2P2 cooperates on a daily basis with labour law experts and experienced employees of the logistics and warehousing industry. The company uses the acquired know-how on an ongoing basis in the development of our system so that it takes into account the current regulations and business needs of entrepreneurs.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Our core product is the Time Harmony system, which we have been successfully offering to entrepreneurs on the Polish market for several years and whose instances we are gradually implementing outside of Poland. Time Harmony is a software for comprehensive control, analysis and optimization of working time. The system consists of two modules: Workforce Management and Labour Management. By choosing our system, the entrepreneur gains a classic Time & Attendance for recording working time, with numerous forms of registration, however, extended with the functions of full, automatic settlement of working time and creating schedules. At the same time, the Labour Management module gives the ability to measure the time of individual activities and the efficiency of employees in these activities. What distinguishes our system is the ability to measure also non-system activities, not registered by standard WMS systems. The combined functionality of the Workforce and Labour Management modules therefore gives a complete picture of the employee’s working time in real time. Arrival and departure times, break times, the time it takes to complete all activities, and performance data. On top of that, extensive reporting with the ability to send data to indicated e-mail addresses and the ability to integrate with advanced analytical programs of the Business Intelligence class.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
Time Harmony is a single place of centralized data on working time and performance. In practice, the system collects data on employee time, activities and performance from various systems, such as turnstiles, terminals, workstations, scanners and Time Harmony devices, and then presents all this collected data in one place in real time. This approach eliminates the need to browse through multiple databases, and analytical processes become more time-efficient and provide complete data on uptime, necessary to carry out optimization activities. As mentioned, what distinguishes Time Harmony is also the ability to record and measure the time of non-system activities. Activities not measured by standard WMS systems, such as cleaning, folding or wrapping cartons, and many others, make up to 30% of the total working time. This area is a great opportunity for optimization activities. And such activities will be effective only if we have full knowledge of the individual elements of the processes. Then we can evaluate each activity in terms of its usefulness and the value it generates as part of the process.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
Time Harmony offers entrepreneurs two modules: Workforce and Labour Management. Each of the modules can be implemented separately, depending on what area the entrepreneur would like to automate and optimize in their workplace. However, the full implementation of both modules offers the most benefits. Workforce Management will automate the process of recording, planning and settling working time. Labour Management will provide full knowledge of all activities performed as part of production or warehouse processes, provide data on the performance of employees or entire teams. The data provided by the system will enable effective resource planning, equalization of the workload, and indicate the possible need to make transfers between teams. It is a real insight into the course of processes and full control over the execution of orders. In addition to the above-mentioned benefits, in the model of full implementation of both modules, the system will provide data on the so-called idle, unproductive time. Limiting this time is an area for optimization and quick, significant savings. Continuous evaluation, optimization and elimination of waste are the assumptions of lean management. Time Harmony fits perfectly into this philosophy in terms of employee time management.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active
Time Harmony Workforce Management System and its functionality of recording and settling working time is used in every branch of business. On the other hand, the Labour Management module works best in the sector of logistics and warehousing companies. Measuring systemic and non-system activities allows the entrepreneur to gain a full picture of work and processes. Monitoring the efficiency and pace of work gives a quick insight into the flow of processes and ensures that orders are completed on time. On the other hand, on-line data from multiple locations allows for monitoring processes in all locations at the same time, contributing to the unification of communication and reporting. Another, related industry are temporary employment agencies, recruiting employees to carry out orders, e.g. in customers’ warehouses. In this case, Time Harmony is an invaluable tool that allows to control remote work. The system will provide information on working time, punctuality, use of breaks and efficiency. Thanks to our tool, temporary employment agencies gain a competitive advantage by showing care for the staff they recruit. On the Polish market Time Harmony proves to be a perfect tool for the sector of manufacturing companies. By providing information about activities, the system helps to identify areas that require correction, helps to eliminate unnecessary elements of production processes, contributes to self-control and increase in employee productivity, allows to estimate the value of future orders based on accurate information about the time necessary to complete them. A common feature of all the above-mentioned industries, in which our system works perfectly, is the need for optimization due to a drastic increase in the costs of running a business, including labor costs. With the knowledge of how processes are flowing, entrepreneurs can make thoughtful decisions, adjust processes and plan resources.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
As we have already mentioned, what characterizes the Polish market is a very large increase in the costs of running a business, which forces entrepreneurs to introduce optimization activities. Entrepreneurs need to look for ways to increase productivity and make more optimal use of their teams’ working time. Well-planned work gives the ability to handle changing volumes without the need to hire additional employees or schedule overtime. Another thing that characterizes the Polish labor market is the difficulty in obtaining well-qualified employees. Also in this field, Time Harmony turns out to be a very useful tool. Here we point out two issues: the system provides objective, measurable data on the employee’s performance necessary in the process of evaluation or bonuses. This gives employees a sense of agency and fairness. A job well done will be rewarded accordingly. Such transparency is the basis for employer-employee relations. Another issue in the area of transparency is the insight into performance data not only for the person supervising the work, but also for the employee himself. Performance data is visible on publicly available dashboards, so every employee has access to it, but crucially, this data is anonymized, so available only to authorized persons. This availability of data brings another benefit, namely an increase in efficiency. Employees gain control over the pace of their work and can adjust it accordingly. Of course, both parties benefit – the employee and the employer.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2024?
We are very optimistic about the upcoming year 2024. We are in the process of implementing our system for a global customer with branches on all continents. This is a big challenge for us related to the adaptation of the system, but also a huge impulse for the development of new functionalities. We have created a universal solution that can be used in any market, in every corner of the world. That is why we approached the implementation of this project with great boldness. The most valuable thing is that we grow thanks to our customers. By listening to their needs and the challenges they face, we enrich our system with new functionalities by providing solutions with very practical applications. 2024 for us will be a year of expansion into new European and global markets.
