Aschenez, founded in December 2013, takes its name from Aschenez, great-grandson of Noè, semite merchant and inventor of the rowing boat. The shipyard was born from the desire of Rosario Alcaro (who has been working in sailing for more than thirty years) to invest again, after the experience of Nautica Alcaro and Sessa Marine, in Calabria building an innovative and highly organized shipyard, suitable and able to build unique and special boats, at times futuristic and that were synthesis of performance and cutting-edge design; boats that have in fact contributed to make the Italian boating the best in the world.
The shipyard covers a production area of 24,000 square meters with 120 employees and has always been used in the training of young people through important on-the-job training experiences, supporting the young recruits with our most qualified workers.
Interview with Rosario Alcaro, General Manager & Valentina Procopio, Marketing Department at Aschenez.
What are the main areas of activity of the company?
The first innovation was the vertical integration in the work process, that is the use by the company of a strategy able to acquire control over all stages of its production chain, internalizing upstream activities (for example, the development of the sector) or downstream of the production process (for example, distribution with its own internal transport and logistics department).
This maximises quality control, reduces costs and increases production flexibility.
The entire production process is carried out internally, through cutting-edge technologies and the most up-to-date machinery.

What’s the news about new products/services?
The Invictus ST550 is the news flagship of the brand, togheter with the TT550.
The ST550 with the “S” standing for Space, marks a new frontier in spatial design, the result of the visionary creativity of designer Christian Grande. Measuring 16.87 meters in length and 5.04 meters in width, this model represents the pinnacle of research and innovation. While preserving the defining features that distinguish the Invictus brand worldwide such as the iconic semi-reversed bow, it boldly extends beyond its legacy.
The Invictus ST550 stems from a project that draws inspiration from the past while looking towards the future, creating a captivating blend of tradition and modernity. Inspired by the timeless allure of classic tenders, it adopts softer, rounded forms, giving rise to a modern silhouette that, while maintaining a strong connection to tradition, fully embraces innovation.

Paying homage to classic tenders, it integrates timeless stylistic elements, such as the antenna housing—enhanced with a carbon fiber detail that evokes the aesthetic of a funnel—and offers the option to choose a glossy mahogany finish instead of teak, blending elegance with modernity.
While the ST550 takes inspiration from classically styled motor yachts, the Invictus TT550 represents a large-scale evolution of the TT range—a true must-have from Cantieri Aschenez.
An enhancement of open spaces, always featuring the unmistakable design style of Christian Grande
The excitement surrounding the preview of what was initially set to be the only future flagship, the Invictus ST550, hasn’t even diminished and Cantieri Aschenez, the owner of the Invictus Yacht brand, has now unveiled a second flagship: the Invictus TT550. While the Invictus ST550 introduces a new range inspired by classically styled motor yachts, the Invictus TT550 further expands the TT line, becoming the natural evolution of the highly successful Invictus TT460 on a larger scale.
At 16.87 meters in length and 5.04 meters in width, the Invictus TT550 becomes the new flagship of the TT range, maintaining the defining characteristics and innovations of the TT460, while integrating reimagined forward and aft exterior spaces. These redesigned areas maximize the overall experience, offering even greater exclusivity.
Invictus TT550 is the quintessential Mediterranean yacht, rather than just a luxury tender for high-end residences with private docks. It’s the ideal boat for those who want to cruise in close contact with the sea, where the interiors, while important, are secondary. It maintains its sporty character without sacrificing the luxury and comfort of a yacht.
The TT550 is all about enhancing the connection with the sea, prioritizing outdoor spaces over indoor ones. The folding side terraces are perfect for this, offering a feeling of openness and freedom with the surrounding environment, creating a safe and expansive cockpit area. A hallmark feature remains the semi-reversed bow, a distinctive signature of all Invictus Yachts.
Invictus TT550, alongside the ST550, will make its world debut at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival this autumn
What are the ranges of products/services?
Today Aschenez produces boats linked to two different brands, whose boats are all born from the entrepreneurial, organizational and productive capacity of Rosario Alcaro and the pen of designer Christian Grande.
The Capoforte brand has 12 models from 19 to 28 feet; they are solid boats, which do not give up comfort and livability on board. The hull has been designed with a slender and linear shape that guarantees excellent stability as well as surprising speeds that make it open day sports.

The Invictus Yacht range has 13 models from 28 to 55 feet; we are talking about luxury boats characterized by their high degree of customization and high accuracy of details, inside and out as well as the use of transformable solutions for the layout that allow not to compromise on comfort.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
Our dealer network is present in the main world markets: Europe, Hong Kong, United States, Emirates, Mexico, England and Australia; it currently has more than 50 dealers and is constantly expanding.
What can you tell us about market trends?
Within the company we talk about innovation in production processes and products.
At the product level, the company is to be considered innovative because it can diversify its production by adapting to market trends.
Indeed, in a market that is moving towards larger boats, the company has diversified, investing in facilities and resources for the construction of two new 55 feet.
There is always the need to look to the future and adapt to a world that is turning towards a green asset, through our first electric model, the SQ240.
What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
All our boats are the result of an innovative process, in the Invictus range.
All the boats of Aschenez are built using infused carbon fibers, a choice that allows to reduce the weight and increase the durability as well as allowed us to improve the aesthetic quality of the product.
An important milestone in this regard was the creation of a GT280, the first born of the Invictus Yacht range, which from its first debut, presented in Düsseldorf the number 300 totally in carbon look.

The GT280 wants to tell the path of growth of the company in terms of innovation, research and development of production processes.
Until now, all carbon fiber components were made exclusively by infusion, a process that can now be replaced and improved with pre preg carbon production able to highlight the natural lines and qualities such as carbon textures, as well as improve the mechanical performance of the boat by reducing its weight and improving quality while achieving consistent performance.
In addition to the advantages mentioned, this new production process will allow less waste and also a lower environmental impact, since the excess resin is removed during the rolling process ensuring a cleaner and safer working environment.
This constant focus on innovation is also reflected in the future projects of the shipyard, which plans to integrate the production of pre-preg carbon components that will give even more value to the models of the Invictus Yacht range.
Another significant innovation concerns the ongoing study that will lead us to the elimination of wood in internal structures. After a long research conducted in collaboration with US partners, the wood has been replaced by a high density polyurethane impregnated in resin, which ensures greater strength and durability of the structures. Finally, Aschenez has introduced structural tanks, which guarantee greater strength and reliability than traditional tanks.
This constant focus on innovation is also reflected in the shipyard’s future projects, such as the development of a new 55-foot Invictus model, with which Aschenez will continue to push the boundaries of nautical engineering and design.
What estimations do you have for the second half of 2025?
In view of the next boat shows, the forecast will be given by the public feedback to the presentation of our two new flagships that have been designed for two customers and two different markets. The goal is to grow and expand our market network
