FF FÖRDERSYSTEME, EXPERIENCE TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGY IN THE 3DIMENSION

ff Fördersysteme offers a basic system for diverse and highly flexible transport and drive solutions in both industrial and personal applications with its patented 3D chain drive. Based on a three-dimensionally movable chain, this system opens up new possibilities not only in routing but also in various applications.

What´s the news about new products?

The core component of the innovative ff conveyor systems is a continuous three-dimensional conveying technology. This carrier system consists of interconnected, standardized straight, curved, and three-dimensionally bent profiles.

A patented chain runs within the profile, capable of fully twisting along its longitudinal axis. This enables an exceptionally flexible 3D conveyor system. Guided within modularly structured rails, it allows for the realization of complex conveyor routes with tight radii and varying inclines.

Curves, ramps, lifts, and inclines—various tasks can be handled within a single track, eliminating the need for modular conveyor systems and saving space. Additionally, the 3D mobility of the chain opens up new possibilities in routing, enabling, for example, a complete 360-degree rotation.

The system can be equipped with practically any type of load carrier. The conveyor chain features connection elements where various transport attachments can be mounted. These can include holders for battery plates, workpieces, Schäfer boxes, hanging applications, and much more. This provides high flexibility for a wide range of transport tasks.

For long distances, only one drive is needed. A newly developed drive motor can be installed almost anywhere, providing a form-fitting drive without polygon effect. This results in a high level of smooth operation for a chain conveyor. Additionally, it allows for continuous transport of goods.

The chain can be manufactured in various sizes and materials – whether made of plastic for lighter items or metal for heavy loads. The robust design is intended for dynamic and demanding industrial applications and ensures high uptime despite its flexibility. It can be used both as a drive element and as a pulling element, running on low-friction rollers while the load is supported on the rail. Another advantage is that the axes always remain horizontal.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

Through efficient use, ff Fördersysteme seamlessly integrates into the current trends of the intralogistics industry. With a single base system, a wide range of conveying tasks for various continuous conveyors can be efficiently solved.

Moreover, this fundamental system can be flexibly adapted to meet changing production processes. The use of only a few components makes the system both cost-effective and particularly sustainable.

What makes the system unique:

  • Various functions that previously had to be implemented through different modules can now be realized in a cohesive and interface-free system. For example, vertical movement upwards, twisting (discharging)
  • Combination of different transport pickups
  • Conventional conveyor systems consist of many modules, such as for a curve, a straight section, a lifting station, or a ramp. Each module is separately driven and controlled. In the ff fördersysteme, there are no modules or interfaces, nor separate drives. There is only one drive, and all functions are represented in a cohesive conveyor line. If the application changes, the carrier system can be retained, supplemented, or modified. Only the carriers need to be replaced. This makes the system particularly economical, flexible, reusable, changeable, and sustainable
  • ff Fördersysteme are low-wear compared to conventional chain systems. A patented solution has been developed for the direction change of the rollers in the curves, which makes the system particularly durable.

What are the most innovative products on the marketed?

Thanks to its versatile applications, the chain drive system can be integrated into a wide range of industries. In addition to intralogistics, it also offers new perspectives in passenger transportation. As an innovative drive technology for the first three-dimensionally movable escalator, it has the potential to open up new markets.

Therefore, we consider the ff conveyor system to be a particularly innovative product on the market.

In 2025, the system is set to enter the intralogistics sector. Suitable distribution partners are being sought for this purpose.
