Manfred Limbrunner becomes Director of new “Governmental Affairs & Communication” department.
Jean-Pierre Sevrain appointed as new “Head of Sales and Marketing” with effect from 1 October 2022.
Awareness of hydrogen as an energy source of the future is increasing to a considerable extent among the public and industry. The demand for associated technologies such as fuel cells is becoming more concrete. The Ukraine conflict is also accelerating the impulses through consequences for the energy supply. Dr. Faiz Nahab, CEO of the German high-tech company “Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH” (www.proton-motor.de), has therefore appointed Manfred Limbrunner, currently “Director Sales and Marketing”, to set up and run “Governmental Affairs & Communication” from 1 October 2022 in response to the current situation. As director of the newly founded department, Manfred Limbrunner is also executive board member of the UK parent company “Proton Motor Power Systems plc” (www.protonmotor-powersystems.com), which is quoted on the AIM London stock exchange. The goal for Proton Motor – as an international player since 1998 – is to establish a high global market presence in order to dynamically shape social and political developments. Jean-Pierre Sevrain, who possesses extensive industry-specific sales experience, has been appointed as the new “Head of Sales and Marketing” with effect of 1 October 2022 to take on the responsibility for sales and marketing at Proton Motor.
In addition to the networking and lobbying strategy for the targeted increase in the level of awareness of Proton Motor, Manfred Limbrunner´s area of responsibility also includes Business Development and Market Communication. Due to his technical background Mr. Limbrunner will participate in presentations for the investment community (brokers, funds, institutions etc.) when needing to address the technical aspects of the fuel cell technology. Proton Motor announces the appointment of Jean-Pierre Sevrain as its new “Head of Sales and Marketing”, effective October 1, 2022. Jean-Pierre Sevrain has a strong industry background. In the last 25 years he has held several international positions (Europe, Asia, US) in sales, product development and project management. Most recently, Mr. Sevrain was responsible as “Head of Sales Europe” at “Hoerbiger Flow Control”. In his function at Proton Motor, Jean-Pierre Sevrain reports directly to the CEO, Dr. Faiz Nahab.
