STOUT CONVEYORS was founded with the intent to design and develop material placing equipment that would be suited for both the residential and commercial contractors. The company looked to be able to make it affordable for the smaller contractor and still have the performance capabilities to keep up with the larger contractors. They first designed the TC-50, this was a towable telescoping conveyor system that could handle anything from concrete to any sized aggregate up to 50+ feet away. STOUT CONVEYORS continues to manufacture in the U.S.A and ship all over the world while also providing local lease opportunities to US customers. The company looks forward to the future of innovative designs and opportunities to help both large and small contractors across the world move material easier.
Interview with Nick Bardall, COO at STOUT CONVEYORS.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Nick Bardall: We primarily focus on manufacturing while helping some customers with custom engineering associated with making the machine better fit for their special needs.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
N.B: The patented TC-50 is the first of its kind. Never before has there been a towable telescoping trailer that can perform like this. We are currently working on other designs to help complement the TC-50 and its capabilities.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
N.B: The TC-50 can handle any loose material that can be found on a jobsite, including concrete – up to a 6” slump while being able to have a 240-degree range of motion and capable of reaching over 50 feet.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
N.B: Equipment is getting smaller, and labor is becoming less available. We have found if you can serve both of those needs you have something that will always be in need.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
N.B: The ones that can service multiple needs of the market at the same time.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?
N.B: Technology is moving at such a fast pace that I expect to see products start to eliminate the need for onsite labor.
