ESCHENBACH, EXPERT FOR TEMPORARY BUILDINGS AND HALL SYSTEMS

Eschenbach Temporary Architecture, founded in 1972 in Germany, is one of the leading European providers of temporary construction and space solutions. Starting with the rental of simple festival tents, the company has developed into a full-service provider for event structures, storage tents, lightweight halls, and special constructions. With its own production facilities, steel construction, and tarpaulin manufacturing, Eschenbach offers everything from a single source.

Interview with Philipp Eschenbach, Managing Director at Eschenbach Temporary Architecture.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Philipp Eschenbach: Eschenbach primarily focuses on the production, rental, and sale of high-quality temporary structures. In the event sector, we offer a wide range of solutions including event halls, pagodas, and stage systems—covering everything from intimate private celebrations to large public events.

We also specialize in storage tents and lightweight halls for industrial and commercial use. These are widely applied in logistics, industry, trade, construction projects, and disaster relief. Across all areas, our aim is to provide versatile, reliable, and tailor-made temporary space solutions to meet the needs of different industries and situations.

What’s the news about new products/services?

P.E: We have recently expanded our portfolio with the E-Line series, which offers a contemporary, modular design concept for event architecture. Within E-Line, we now present:

  • E-Motion – a dynamic, modern tent structure with elegant lines, ideal for premium events.
  • E-Vento – optimized for high visitor capacities with flexible modular expansions.
  • E-Box – cube-shaped architecture for multifunctional use, from hospitality to exhibitions.

In addition, we are further developing our lightweight hall systems for industrial and logistics applications. These new halls combine fast assembly with high structural stability and can be customized with features such as insulation, solar roofing, and integrated climate control systems.

What are the ranges of products/services?

P.E: Our event tents and systems portfolio includes the modern E-Line with its clean, contemporary design, the flexible Multi-Light system of combinable pavilions, and the atmospheric Hüttenzauber for themed events.

In the storage and production hall segment, we offer modular hall systems that stand out for their fast assembly times and versatile applications.

Among our innovative products are the CURVEX halls, whose curved structure ensures exceptional stability while making optimal use of available space.

The range is completed by accessories and technical equipment such as decorative elements, lighting, climate and heating systems, furniture, and various flooring options – combining functionality with aesthetics.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

P.E: Eschenbach is firmly established as one of the leading providers of temporary architecture in Europe, with consistently high demand for flexible space solutions. The combination of “Made in Germany” quality, modular construction, and a comprehensive full-service approach provides clear competitive advantages, especially in sectors that require rapid deployment of additional space. While our core market focus remains Europe, we also successfully serve customers worldwide, ensuring our solutions meet diverse requirements across different industries and regions.

What can you tell us about market trends?

P.E: Current market trends clearly point towards solutions that are flexible and modular, enabling structures to be assembled, dismantled, or expanded quickly to meet changing requirements. Sustainability is becoming increasingly important, with growing demand for durable systems, reusability, and resource-efficient production. Full-service offerings are also on the rise, as customers value complete solutions from concept through to maintenance. Additionally, hybrid usage is gaining momentum, with structures designed to serve multiple purposes—such as combining storage, production, and event functions—offering maximum versatility and return on investment.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

P.E: Among our most innovative solutions are our lightweight halls, engineered to withstand high wind and snow loads while offering full modular adaptability in both size and configuration. Our E-Line series represents a minimalist, contemporary approach to event tent design, combining visual elegance with functional versatility. In addition, we integrate advanced technical features such as solar roofing and state-of-the-art climate control systems, enabling sustainable, energy-efficient operations without compromising comfort or performance.

What estimations do you have for the second half of 2025?

P.E: We are aware that the economic situation in parts of Europe remains challenging, influenced by factors such as ongoing conflicts, trade and tariff issues with the United States, and broader market uncertainties. Nevertheless, there continues to be strong demand for temporary building solutions as an alternative to permanent construction. This preference is driven by the flexibility, cost efficiency, and speed of implementation that our modular systems provide—advantages that are particularly valuable in uncertain economic times.
