ALUMERO GROUP, SPECIALIST FOR SOLUTIONS DESIGNED OF METAL

ALUMERO Group is one of the leading producers and system providers for PV-mounting systems in Europe with over 30 years of experience. The company produces exclusively in their three plants in the EU from recycled metagreen aluminium of European origin.

Interview with Anja Korber, Assistant to the CEO/Marketing Manager at ALUMERO Group.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Anja Korber: Our main focus is on PV-mounting systems for all types of roofs and open-field systems as well as new innovative PV-products like our PV-Fence System, the mobile solar container “solarfold” and our smart PV-Carport.

What’s the news about new products/services?

A.K: Our PV-mounting systems are constantly being further developed and new innovations launched. Last we introduced the PV-Fence System, the flat roof system “Easyspeed F1” and an inroof-system, just to name a few. We are constantly working on completing our product-portfolio for PV-mounting systems and PV-innovations.

What are the ranges of products/services?

The ALUMERO Group is focused on the PV-sector and reducing CO2 emissions. We are part of the energy transition not only by producing PV-mounting systems but also by manufacturing them from recycled metagreen aluminium.

The metagreen sustainability strategy of the ALUMERO Group continues to be driven forward: Almost the entire demand for aluminium in our production is covered by recycled metagreen aluminium. This enables us to significantly reduce our CO2 footprint.

Our new metagreen partner programme is based on the motto ‘Climate protection needs ambition’. In a European comparison, our customers save 3 tons of CO2 per ton of aluminium with metagreen. Compared with products from the Far East, this can be as much as 14 tons per ton of aluminium.

ALUMERO rewards these CO2 savings with a bonus programme, the ‘metagreen leaves’. We also support our customers in marketing our products with this partner programme.

Furthermore, our partners can plan their projects in our planning tool via the platform “sunify”. Sunify also offers a lead-generator and the possibility to exchange services.

Those and more services are free of charge for our metagreen partners

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

A.K: The market situation has also deteriorated somewhat in our sector due to the multiple crises.

We are using this phase of economic slowdown to optimize and digitalise all internal processes so that we can emerge stronger from the general crisis and continue to maintain our good market position.

What can you tell us about market trends?

A.K: The PV sector is experiencing steady growth. In the course of the desired energy transition, PV is being installed in all kinds of application areas. Be it on the roof, on the facade or on open ground. We are constantly working on innovations to meet the demands of the market and offer our customers a broad product portfolio.

In addition, we produce with recycled metagreen aluminium and thus further reduce CO2 emissions. We also save additional CO2 by shortening transport routes through our own production within the EU. And we offer our partners a secure supply chain.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

A.K: Our future focus will be on new, innovative applications such as Agri-PV, an in-roof PV system, new flat roof systems and a pitched roof system specially designed to meet the requirements of roofers.

The ALUMERO Group’s metagreen sustainability strategy continues to be driven forward: Almost the entire aluminium requirement in our production is covered by recycled metagreen aluminium. This enables us to significantly reduce our CO2 footprint.

As a new service for our customers we established the metagreen partner programme, as mentioned earlier.

What estimations do you have for the rest of 2024?

A.K: The current market situation is likely to persist until the end of the year. We are using this phase of economic slowdown to optimise and digitalise all internal processes so that we can emerge from the crisis stronger and continue to maintain our good market position.

We are also supporting our sales organisation with the implementation of our metagreen partnership concept.
