GVG produces a high-quality aluminum joinery. Thanks to the two grants from the UE they purchased a modern technological line, and in 2020 they moved to the new headquarters. As a family business, because the company has been working with joinery as the second generation, they constantly improve their qualifications and engage in development and innovation.
Interview with Karolina Jakubowska, CEO of GVG Aluminium.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Karolina Jakubowska: We produce only aluminum joinery based on technical solutions, e.g. systems such as Schueco (Germany), Reynaers (Belgium) or Cortizo (Spain). We supply fixed windows, arched windows, inward opening windows or English casement type windows that open outwards. Our offer also includes lift & slide or bifold doors. Patio doors with thin profiles such as Hi Finity or Cor Vision Plus are becoming more and more popular. Our assortment also includes panel or pivot entry doors, but also curtainwalls, shutters and external blinds.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
K.J: This year we will introduce for sale one-of-a-kind aluminum doors in a rustic style. They will be a perfect complement to any interior in a rustic, but also modern style. When creating this innovative structure, we aimed primarily at comfort, while not losing the equally important visual effect. We plan to launch these doors and internal walls during the London fair. We invite you to the UK Construction Week in London on 2-4/05/2023 at stand B1025.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
K.J: Aluminum joinery consists mainly of window and door structures for residences, and curtainwalls for commercial buildings where large glazing dominates. Thanks to the latest solutions, we can create various types of joinery. Style, shape, color, dimensions – all this is up to the customer.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
K.J: The English and American-Canadian markets where we mainly operate are consistently developing. Despite the worldwide crisis, aluminum joinery is an element that is still needed. We do not see a slowdown, and on the contrary, we observe the market demand for this type of solution.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
K.J: The global situation has stabilized a little. However, the new construction & building industry will be more expensive, which will cause a slowdown in this field. Therefore, growth can be expected in the area of renovation. It is therefore planned to develop sales of our products in this area.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?
K.J: We, as the GVG company, plan to increase sales on English markets.
