Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Bitnamic: The centerpiece of bitnamic CONNECT is our Remote Maintenance solution, which was specially developed for the industry sector. Our customers can quickly and easily connect with their on-site service technician in an interactive video conference with a geographically distant expert. Now you can solve problems concerning maintenance and repair processes together.

E.E: What’s the news for 2020 about new products?

Bitnamic: We have released a new module for bitnamic CONNECT this year, the Instant Messenger for the industry. It ensures even faster communication between service technicians and experts.

The exchange of messages and media makes it possible in many cases to solve problems before the actual video call. Traditional instant messengers do not provide data protection. Our Instant Messenger is GDPR compliant and all servers are located in Germany. If desired, own hosting is also possible.

Just like the bitnamic CONNECT app itself, you can customize the Instant Messenger according to your corporate design.

E.E: What are the ranges of traded products?

Bitnamic: Bitnamic develops and distributes the Remote Maintenance Assistance system – Bitnamic CONNECT, which supports maintenance, repair and inspection of complex and highly sensitive machines and systems.

Furthermore, our solution is compatible with the latest technology. Whether the use of smart glasses or the individual development of augmented reality solutions, we offer a flexible and innovative all-round solution.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

Bitnamic: The market is currently in a growing process and the demand for our tool is increasing rapidly.

Also due to corona, many international trips are cancelled, so video support is becoming more and more important.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

Bitnamic: Basically, many companies want to expand their service process and optimize their internal communication. The current trend is towards smart glasses, as they allow technicians to work with both hands without restrictions, e.g. the Microsoft HoloLens 2.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

Bitnamic: When it comes to software, bitnamic CONNECT is definitely one of the most innovative solutions. It is like a puzzle piece and integrates itself into a wide variety of structures, bringing with it all the features needed in the industry.

When we talk about smart glasses, we also have many innovative products. This eyewear adapts to certain applications and can be used in the best possible way. In addition, there are already smart glasses that are hardly different from normal glasses and can therefore be easily integrated into everyday life.

E.E: What are your estimates for 2020?

Bitnamic: We believe that 2020 has taken a very unexpected course for all of us because of the pandemic. Digitalization has been accelerated in some places, as travel is no longer possible as usual and many employees work from their home office. Our solution is therefore becoming increasingly interesting for many companies.
