ENZEIT TECHNIK PV MOUNTING SYSTEMS & MOUNT MAKER DIGITAL PLATFORM

As the European solar energy sector professionalizes amidst grid connection bottlenecks and heavier module designs, Enzeit Technik, a division of GTV Poland S.A., is expanding its production and engineering footprint across Central Europe, the Baltic states, Scandinavia, and Croatia. Operating under EN 1090 certification with factory production control, the company manufactures structural mounting systems for ground-mounted, flat roof, pitched roof, and carport photovoltaic installations. Supported by ongoing research on protective coating corrosion resistance conducted with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Enzeit Technik combines automated cold roll-forming, 3D laser processing, and press brake manufacturing with localized structural calculations. To eliminate manual quotation errors, the company developed Enzeit Mount Maker, a proprietary browser-based tool that calculates ballast requirements, generates bills of materials, and optimizes flat-roof layouts. Following 200 MW in structure deliveries in 2025, Enzeit Technik targets approximately doubling its supply capacity across European utility and commercial markets by the end of 2026.

Interview with Cristian Drozdek, Regional Sales Manager – Export at Enzeit Technik.

A brief description of the company and its activities.

Cristian Drozdek: Enzeit Technik is a European manufacturer of mounting systems for photovoltaic installations, part of GTV Poland S.A. We design and produce structures for ground-mounted installations, flat and pitched roofs, and carports, with our own engineering office carrying out structural calculations for specific sites. Production runs in Poland under EN 1090, with factory production control. In 2025 we delivered structures for projects totalling 200 MW across European markets, including Croatia, Central Europe, the Baltic states and Scandinavia.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

C.D: Three areas. Manufacturing of mounting structures, covering the full range from residential roofs to utility-scale ground installations. Engineering support, meaning structural calculations prepared for the specific site, selection of corrosion protection for local environmental conditions, and documentation required at project handover. Research and development, including a continuing programme on the corrosion resistance of protective coatings conducted with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland, with results published in Coatings and The Paton Welding Journal.

What’s the news about new products/services?

C.D: The main development is on the digital side. Enzeit Mount Maker is a browser-based configurator built entirely in-house, in which a contractor configures the structure, plans the layout of a flat-roof installation, obtains ballast calculations and places the order. We extend its scope with new functions on a continuous basis. On the manufacturing side, recent investment covered 3D lasers, fully automated cold roll-forming lines and press brakes handling elements up to 15 metres in length.

What are the ranges of products/services?

C.D: Mounting systems for ground-mounted installations, for flat roofs, for pitched roofs and for carports, supplied with the fasteners and components required for assembly. Alongside the products we provide structural calculations for the site, advice on the corrosion protection appropriate to local conditions, documentation for project handover, and technical support during installation.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

C.D: The market is professionalising in several of the countries where we operate. Investors and EPC contractors now expect considerably more from a structure supplier than the product itself: calculations prepared for the specific location, verifiable documentation and technical support during execution. Grid connection remains the main bottleneck for new projects, which is why existing connection capacity is increasingly treated as an asset in its own right.

What can you tell us about market trends?

C.D: Modules are becoming larger and heavier, which changes the loads transferred to the structure and the foundations. Energy storage is moving from an addition to a standard element of project planning. Installations from the first wave of European photovoltaics are approaching the point at which modernisation becomes a commercial decision, which brings the condition and the load reserve of the original structure into focus. At the same time, pressure on project costs continues, and the gap between the purchase price of a structure and its service life is where the real difference lies.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

C.D: Enzeit Mount Maker. Configuring a commercial flat-roof installation, calculating the ballast and preparing a bill of materials used to require several tools and several days. In the configurator this becomes a single process completed in a browser. The calculations are orientational and require verification by a qualified person, yet they remove most of the manual work at the quotation stage and reduce errors in the material list, which is where the costliest mistakes on site originate.

What estimations do you have for the second half of 2026?

C.D: Current estimates indicate that we will close the year at roughly double the 200 MW delivered in 2025. Growth is distributed across our European markets rather than concentrated in one country.
