Super 3D Plus is a reseller of industrial 3D printers. They offer L-PBF, SLS and SLA printers as well as more niche products such as large-format printers for construction (concrete as well as various thermoplastics), ceramics, sand printers for casting and specialized plastics such as PEEK. The company can offer very unique products and works with customers around the world.
Interview with Rafal Pruszynski, Sales Manager at Super 3D Plus.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Rafal Pruszynski: Our main activity is in offering 3D printers and 3D scanners. We also support our customers after they purchase from us. Our customers are mainly industrial users from sectors such as aviation, defense, aerospace, construction, dental, medical, and even mining and other natural resource sectors.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
R.P: The latest news has been the release of the largest L-PBF printer (EP-M1250) by one of our partners, Eplus3D. This is a 9-laser printer with a build volume of 1258x1258x1350 mm. Such an exciting machine is perfect for industries where large parts are normal, such as automotive and aerospace industries. This printer was released at FormNext 2022 and shows that Eplus3D is one of the most advanced printer manufacturers in the world today.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
R.P: We offer a wide range of products. These include 3D scanners and 3D printers. The 3D printers we offer are L-PBF, SLS, SLA, binder jetting and FDM.
On the FDM side we offer printers for PEEK and other materials, but the most exciting are the machines from our partner, CoinRobotics who make hybrid machines that have print envelopes as large as 10m in length, with additive as well as 5-axis CNC subtractive capabilities. These printers can achieve extrusion rates of up to 100 kg per hour of high-performance thermoplastics, which makes them ideal for construction, architecture, furniture, large molds applications. One of these printers was used to print a 22m bridge in China.
On metal side we are partnered with Eplus3D, one of the largest L-PBF printer manufacturers in the world. They have a wide range of printers from small to the largest L-PBF printer on the market today as well as SLS and SLA printers.
We also work with manufacturers for concrete construction printers.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
R.P: We are active across many industries and our customers come from all over the world, so it is difficult to say. In general, however, I see the demand for printers as much stronger so far than last year.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
R.P: In my opinion, the trend is towards size and speed. Large format, fast printers for metal are the obvious choice. But with some interesting developments in Dubai, I believe construction 3D printing will be a hot trend.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
R.P: I would say that the most innovative products are materials. There are many exciting powders for metal printing coming onto the market for high-end applications that will make metal printers, such as the Eplus3D EP-M1250 even more attractive to these customers.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?
R.P: In my opinion I believe 2023 will be a very strong year. We are currently seeing a big increase in interest and are working with some potential customers in the area of metal 3D printing mostly.
