FIBRE NET – TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS FOR BUILDING AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Fibre Net Group is an Italian industrial group specialising in the design and manufacture of advanced composite solutions for the construction, infrastructure, industrial and airport security sectors. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in North-East Italy, the Group has built its growth strategy around continuous investment in research and development, technical innovation and close collaboration with designers, contractors and public authorities.

Today, Fibre Net operates internationally, with solutions installed in over 30 countries worldwide, and is recognised as one of Europe’s leading players in fibre-reinforced composite systems for structural reinforcement and infrastructure protection.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Fibre Net Group operates across three core strategic areas.

In the building and infrastructure sector, the Group develops systems for structural strengthening, seismic upgrading and maintenance of concrete and masonry structures, including FRP, FRCM and CRM systems, as well as GFRP meshes and connectors.

In the industrial sector, Fibre Net designs and manufactures pultruded profiles, gratings and composite structures for aggressive environments and industrial facilities.

In the airport and perimeter security sector, through the FibreFENCE brand, the Group supplies GFRP fencing systems certified for radio-transparency, durability and resistance, widely adopted in civil and military airports.

What’s the news about new products/services?

Fibre Net is currently expanding its product portfolio with new high-performance and low-environmental-impact composite systems, developed to respond to increasingly demanding requirements in terms of sustainability, durability and regulatory compliance.

Recent developments include next-generation FRCM and CRM systems with enhanced compatibility for historic masonry, as well as optimised FRP solutions designed for faster installation and improved structural efficiency, such as the RI-STRUTTURA CRM system.

At the same time, the Group is reinforcing its technical and engineering services, offering advanced design support, digital tools and on-site assistance to engineers and contractors.

What are the ranges of products/services?

Fibre Net Group provides a fully integrated range of solutions, including:

  • FRP, FRCM and CRM systems for structural reinforcement
  • GFRP meshes, connectors and accessories for masonry and concrete
  • Structural mortars, resins and bonding agents
  • Pultruded composite profiles, gratings and industrial structures
  • Composite fencing systems for airports and high-security areas
  • Engineering support services, including design assistance, training and site support

All products are developed and certified in compliance with European standards, with several ranges supported by Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), e.g. the brand-new EPD certification on Pultruded Composite profiles.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

The markets in which Fibre Net operates are characterised by strong and sustained demand, driven by the need for infrastructure maintenance, seismic upgrading and sustainable construction solutions.
Internationally, particularly in North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, there is growing interest in composite technologies due to their durability, low maintenance requirements and long-term economic efficiency.

In Europe, public investment programmes, including those related to national recovery and resilience plans, are significantly boosting refurbishment and structural upgrading activities.

What can you tell us about market trends?

Market trends clearly indicate a growing preference for lightweight, corrosion-resistant and durable materials, alongside increasing attention to sustainability.

There is also a shift towards integrated systems rather than individual products, as well as the expansion of performance-based design approaches and digital engineering tools.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

Among Fibre Net’s most advanced solutions are its certified CRM and FRCM systems, combining composite meshes with mineral matrices and particularly suited to historic and seismic-prone buildings.
The Group’s GFRP and CFRP FRP systems offer high structural performance with minimal invasiveness, while its radio-transparent composite fencing systems represent a benchmark for airport and military applications.

Equally innovative is Fibre Net’s integration of environmental performance and EPDs into product development, as well as its strong engineering support model that accompanies clients from design to installation.

What estimations do you have for the beginning of 2026?

2026 is expected to represent a year of consolidation, strengthening Fibre Net’s position as a reliable, financially solid and innovative partner in the composite materials sector. International development is expected to play an increasingly significant role, with further commercial expansion outside Europe.
