ALLSEE TECHNOLOGIES: 18 YEARS OF INNOVATION POWERING THE FUTURE OF DIGITAL SIGNAGE

Allsee Technologies is a specialist OEM manufacturer of commercial grade digital signage and display solutions. Founded in the UK in 2007, the company has remained fully dedicated to digital signage, spanning LCD and DV-LED displays, touch solutions, kiosks, high brightness screens, video walls, media players and CMS software. In Europe, Allsee Europe operates from Ostend, Belgium, supporting partners across the continent with local market knowledge, multilingual service and technical expertise.

Interview with Guillaume Vandenberghe, Managing Director at Allsee Europe.

A brief description of the company and its activities.

Guillaume Vandenberghe: Allsee Europe is backed by our new Innovation Centre in Longbridge, Birmingham, one of the largest digital signage hubs in Europe. The facility brings together product development, research and development, technical expertise, training, project support and collaboration space, giving our European partners direct access to the wider knowledge and innovation capability of Allsee.

I have been part of Allsee for the last nine years and, as Managing Director for Europe, my focus is to connect strong manufacturing and R&D capability with the practical needs of European resellers, integrators and end users.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

G.V: Our main activity is helping businesses turn digital displays into reliable and powerful communication tools. We work through a network of specialist reseller partners, supporting projects in retail, hospitality, quick service restaurants, corporate environments, healthcare, education, transport, gyms, events and manufacturing. Applications include advertising, menu boards, wayfinding, internal communication, self-service, interactive product information, showroom engagement, outdoor communication and visitor experience.

Partner development is central to our approach. We combine strong manufacturing capability with practical support for European resellers and integrators, helping them specify, deploy and support solutions with confidence.

What’s the news about new products/services?

G.V: We see three important directions in current development. First, DV-LED is becoming more flexible and accessible, enabling large format displays, shop fascias, indoor totems, fine pitch presentation walls and creative formats. Second, demand is growing for non-standard displays, including stretched, shelf edge, square and bespoke screens, as brands look to make better use of unusual spaces and create more memorable customer experiences.

Third, software integration and AI are moving to the centre of the conversation. Our work with Videri demonstrates how Allsee hardware can integrate with third party CMS functionality, including remote control of brightness, orientation, volume and power, alongside diagnostics and screenshots. We are also collaborating with the University of Birmingham and Dr Jianbo Jiao on COMPaD, which explores how AI can help businesses generate and optimise digital signage content more efficiently.

What are the ranges of products/services?

G.V: Our range includes digital advertising displays, freestanding digital posters, high brightness window displays, outdoor displays and totems, battery-powered A-boards, PCAP touch screens, self-service kiosks, commercial monitors, LCD video walls, DV-LED solutions, stretched and shelf edge displays, media players and cloud-based CMS platforms.

Digital signage is not a side activity for Allsee. It is our core business. Because we design and manufacture the hardware and develop software and services around it, we can provide complete solutions, from simple plug and play Android displays to fully networked content management solutions, touch content platforms and bespoke OEM projects. Our products are designed for commercial environments and supported by a minimum three-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

G.V: The European commercial display market in 2026 is active but selective. Businesses are still investing, but they want clear value: better customer engagement, measurable return on investment, lower operating costs, easier content management and long-term reliability. Sustainability, energy efficiency, remote management and multi country support are increasingly important.

Retail media and digital out of home continue to create demand, while corporate, healthcare, education and transport projects are often driven by the need for real time communication and a better user experience.

What can you tell us about market trends?

G.V: The biggest trend is the move from screens on a wall to connected, intelligent communication networks. Hardware quality remains essential, but buyers increasingly want integrated ecosystems combining displays, CMS, device monitoring, analytics, sensors, touch interaction, AI assisted content and dependable service support.

We also see growing interest in hybrid spaces, immersive retail, self-service and content that can be adapted quickly by audience, location or time of day. At the same time, partners need solutions that are easy to deploy, maintain and scale across multiple countries.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

G.V: Our most innovative solutions are those that combine robust commercial hardware with simplicity. Our all-in-one Android displays helped make digital signage accessible without external media players, leading to recognition with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.

Today, our most exciting developments include DV-LED, high brightness and advanced outdoor displays, interactive PCAP products, bespoke formats, integrated CMS partnerships and AI powered content workflows. Innovation for us is not simply about adding features. It is about removing complexity for partners and end users. We are in a unique position, given that we have been dedicated to this market for 19 years, and have close relationships with our partner network and daily communication with end users to provide support – so we truly understand what the market wants and needs.

What estimations do you have for the second half of 2026?

G.V: Our outlook for the second half of 2026 is positive. We expect continued European growth as digital signage becomes a standard part of commercial environments rather than an optional extra. We see strong momentum in retail, hospitality and QSR, corporate communication, outdoor LED, transport, healthcare, education and bespoke display projects.

Our priority will be to support our partner network with reliable stock ranges, stronger software integrations, more flexible DV-LED solutions and practical guidance around AI, content strategy and return on investment. Our ambition remains the same: to make professional digital signage easier to specify, deploy and manage, while helping customers create more engaging spaces and more effective communication.
