FASTTEL ACCESS CONTROL: CUSTOM INTERCOMS FOR RENOVATIONS

As the architectural hardware and building security markets increasingly demand systems that blend connected technology with bespoke aesthetics, Belgian manufacturer Fasttel is expanding its access management portfolio. Specializing in video intercoms and access control for residential, apartment, and commercial properties, the company focuses on custom engineering, offering tailored dimensions, bespoke finishes in brushed black aluminum or solid bronze, and personalized panel engraving. Fasttel’s latest innovation, the FT26K access keypad, integrates PIN code, RFID badge, Bluetooth, and QR code access methods. Operating as a standalone 12V unit, via local networks, or through a cloud-connected platform, the FT26K simplifies remote access management via dedicated mobile applications. Designed to streamline installation in both new builds and renovation projects, Fasttel’s Wizard Entry and Wizard Prestige series eliminate internal apartment cabling by routing outdoor intercom signals to indoor Wi-Fi monitors through the Fasttel cloud.

A brief description of the company and its activities.

Fasttel is a Belgian manufacturer of intercom and access control systems for residential and commercial buildings. We combine smart technology with premium materials and distinctive design. Our solutions allow users to welcome visitors, communicate with them and manage access through indoor monitors, smartphones and connected platforms. Customisation is one of our key strengths, with bespoke panels, finishes and personalised engraving or printing.

What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Our core activities are video intercoms and access control solutions for private homes, apartment buildings and commercial premises. We focus on making these systems easy to install, convenient to use and visually compatible with the building’s architecture. We support installers and project partners with technical advice, configuration and customised solutions.

What’s the news about new products/services?

One of our latest additions is the FT26K access keypad, offering access by PIN code, badge, Bluetooth and, with the QR-equipped version, QR code. It can operate as a standalone 12V system, through a local network or through an internet-connected cloud platform. Cloud connectivity allows users and access rights to be managed remotely, including through our app.

Available for flush or surface mounting, the range includes brushed black aluminium and three bronze finishes. We can also manufacture custom faceplates with engraved or printed names and logos.

What are the ranges of products/services?

Our portfolio includes video intercoms, complete video intercom kits, indoor monitors, access keypads and solutions for apartment buildings. Our Wizard Entry and Wizard Prestige ranges address different project requirements, from straightforward installations to premium entrances with advanced connectivity.

These products are complemented by smartphone applications, cloud management, access control accessories and integration options. We also offer customised dimensions, materials and finishes to suit individual projects.

What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

We operate in a competitive market where customers carefully assess price, functionality and installation costs. For Fasttel, the strongest opportunities are projects where design, customisation and technical support play an important role alongside security.

Renovation is particularly relevant to our offering. Solutions that simplify installation and reduce the need for new cabling can make upgrading an existing entrance more practical and attractive.

What can you tell us about market trends?

From our perspective, the main direction is towards connected systems that combine visitor communication and access management. Smartphone operation, remote administration and flexible access methods are increasingly central to the solutions we develop.

We also see strong potential in systems that are easier to install in existing buildings. At the premium end of the market, we believe technology should blend naturally into the architecture, with greater choice in materials, finishes and personalisation.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

Two examples are our FT26K access keypad and Wizard Prestige apartment solutions. The FT26K combines multiple access methods with a choice of standalone, local network or cloud operation, allowing the same product family to serve different installation needs.

Our apartment solution connects the outdoor intercom to indoor monitors through the Fasttel cloud, with monitors using each apartment’s Wi-Fi connection. This reduces the need for intercom cabling inside apartments and enables remote management. Together, these solutions combine installation flexibility, connected functionality and customised design.

What estimations do you have for the second half of 2026?

Our outlook for the second half of 2026 is cautiously positive. We see opportunities for our new access control products, connected apartment solutions and customised premium intercoms, particularly in projects where installation simplicity and architectural integration are priorities.

Our focus is on turning these opportunities into orders by supporting installers, presenting the benefits of our latest products and maintaining a high level of service. Without referring to a specific sales forecast, we believe these priorities provide a solid basis for further development.
