A brief description of the company and its activities.
Giampaolo Marino: Our wireless power transmitter and receiver technologies, which are available in a variety of form factors, deliver continuous access to wireless power while streamlining data transmission at the edge. They are helping drive a new generation of battery-free devices for asset and inventory tracking and management—from retail sensors, electronic shelf labels, and asset trackers, to air quality monitors, motion detectors, and more.
What are the main areas of activity of the company?
G.M: Energous develops WPN technology, hardware, and software. We are currently focused on product development and deployment of our wireless power solutions in large scale supply chain and logistics applications.
Energous PowerBridge transmitter systems are the backbone of WPNs that allow connected devices such as sensors and tags to continuously provide critical enterprise data to cloud networks—at distance and without wires, batteries, or cables—ensuring they are reliably activated and online at all times. These transmitter systems act as data links for IoT-enabled devices, enabling them to efficiently communicate valuable data and insights back to the cloud, and allowing companies to analyze, optimize, and improve every part of their supply chain operations in real time.
We also license our patent-protected WPN technology, offering components including transmitter SoCs and power amplifiers that allow our customers to build WPNs that are customized for their unique applicactions.

What are the ranges of products/services?
G.M: The Energous PowerBridge transmitter systems, which are available in 1W, 1W Omnidirectional, and 2W models, are designed for next-generation, enterprise IoT applications which require power over a distance. They provide a WPN that delivers an always on, over-the-air automated energy flow that optimizes IoT device performance. Their proprietary antenna design enables the systems to transmit higher radiated power, delivering up to 99 percent visibility of all connected devices.
For customers looking for customizable solutions, the EN4100 is an SoC RF-transmitter IC that forms the core of a wireless power transmitter system, while the EN3210 is a high power, high efficiency CMOS RF power amplifier. Combined, they provide optimal wireless power for wireless power receiver devices.
We also offer a variety of Evaluation Kits to deliver a hands-on experience with Energous wireless power solutions: Asset Tracking, Energy Harvesting, and IoT Sensors.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
G.M: The convergence of IoT technology and advanced wireless charging systems is transforming operational efficiency and innovation across a wide range of markets. From fast-paced retail environments to complex transportation networks to precision-focused manufacturing, this integration is reshaping the way businesses operate.
One area where this impact is particularly pronounced is supply chain management. Legacy solutions have high maintenance costs, manual (error-prone) processes, and system inflexibility due to a reliance on batteries, wires, and cables to energize sensors, tags, and other data-gathering devices. However, with Energous technology, companies gain real-time visibility into their supply chains. Whether goods are on-site or en route, this newfound transparency empowers organizations to fine-tune inventory management, streamline deliveries, and enhance production processes.
What can you tell us about market trends?
G.M: Energous is playing a pivotal role in Ambient IoT, with our innovative wireless power solutions providing the foundation for WPNs that are energizing a new generation of battery-free devices for asset and inventory tracking and management.
Ambient IoT is a new class of connected devices that use energy from the environment to power themselves and communicate wirelessly. They operate without batteries, harnessing ambient energy sources like radio frequencies, making them useful for supply chain applications, where they enable constant monitoring and data collection of products, processes, and inventory–without requiring regular maintenance.
Ambient IoT has a potential Total Addressable Market (TAM) of more than 10 trillion devices across a wide variety of vertical industries, including retail, transportation and logsitics, and manufacturing.
What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
G.M: The Energous 2W PowerBridge transmitter system is designed for next-generation, enterprise IoT applications which require power over a distance, providing a WPN that delivers an always on, over-the-air automated energy flow that optimizes IoT device performance. Using Energous IC’s and system building blocks, it is an enterprise-grade system with multiple power supply options, and IP-rated housing.
The transmitter’s proprietary antenna design enables it to transmit higher radiated power—up to 8W Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP)—and dual polarization, delivering up to 99 percent visibility of all connected devices. This makes it well suited for large-scale industrial applications where asset tracking and monitoring across multiple zones is critical to operations, including supply chain visibility, cold chain monitoring, fleet management, and temperature and humidity monitoring. The 2W PowerBridge transmitter represents one of the best available solutions for BLE asset tag infrastructure for retail logistics and supply chain industries.
The transmitter is fully regulatory-compliant in the US and has been deployed to multiple customers.
What estimations do you have for 2025?
G.M: This year has been pivotal for Energous:
