Interview with Lucrezia Radice, Marketing Consultant at MisuraEmme.
Easy Engineering: A brief description of the company and its activities.
Lucrezia Radice: All MisuraEmme designs are original “made in Italy” creations. They represent an attentive monitoring of market trends and changes; well-rounded products with exclusive quality as their main ambition, permeated with the company’s tenacious enthusiasm and manufactured directly on our premises-part of a tested balance between the performance capacities typical of serial production and stylistic flair of a true designer.
E.E: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
L.R: MisuraEmme creates 100% Made in Italy furniture, designed by outstanding architects and produced with careful workmanship by skilled local professionals. Products are marked by a very high level of personalization, conceived in a one-to-one relationship with the client.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
L.R: MisuraEmme quality can be found in its concept philosophy and flexible thinking that allow to design increasingly suitable products for the world of design. Those can be customized to the millimeter enabling to integrate perfectly with the architectural limits of modern homes.
For instance, PALO ALTO WALL is a night system with a supporting structure that allows to continuously cover the walls of an entire room creating a walk-in closets, doorways and partitions of equipped walls. This system also provides the use of dedicated equipment specifically designed to be fixed directly onto the brackets of the supporting structure. On the upper and lower horizontal fillers there is the possibility of housing dimmable LED lights; while, on the accessories (such as drawers and shelves) it is possible to electrify the rack to transfer the power to the horizontal led lights without the aid of electrical cables.
PUZZLE is the evolution of a boiserie system based on an aluminum structure equipped with panels in different material options. Puzzle system also includes various accessories: shelves, containers, glass Teke, top cabinets, LED lights are all perfectly suited to the design MisuraEmme. Aluminium frames can be enriched with exclusive refined materials to add a modern and sophisticated touch.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
L.R: MisuraEmme offers a wide range of products that extends from walk-in closets to day systems including beds, night groups and furnishing accessories for the living area such as sofas, tables, coffee tables, cupboards, chairs and armchairs.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
L.R: The market in which we are currently active is looking for stabilization: after the price increases of raw materials and energy that occurred from February 2021 to almost all of 2022. The turnover is influenced by these costs that forced the company to re-evaluate the prices of each individual product.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
L.R: The market is splitting significantly: the average target is becoming increasingly relevant and the role of the architect is becoming more and more significant.
MisuraEmme is aimed at a high-end market that interfaces with designers and architects with a careful and sophisticated choice of quality materials and a refined product engineering.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
L.R: As previously explained, the innovation lies in creating both night and day systems that adapt perfectly, since they can be customized to the millimeter, to any living space.
Innovation, to MisuraEmme, means not only looking for design solutions, but also creating new collections with an innovative thinking.
EROS is the new group designed by Studio63, consisting of cupboard, dresser and bedside tables. This collection is more of a dialogue between materials and shapes that can evoke an ethereal dimension in which the black oak container appears to be suspended between the top and the floor thanks to the lightness of the diametrically oval structure.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?
L.R: Compared to the previous year, 2023 started with a little contraction in turnover; anyways, in the third quarter of the year a stabilization and normalization of the market are expected. The current year is considered as an adjustment period that could close in positive thanks to the export market.
