Thanks to a targeted redesign, Montech has enhanced the drive units of the TB40 belt conveyor. In addition to introducing a third transmission variant for lighter loads at higher delivery speeds, the connection position was reworked.

With the redesign of the drive units of the TB40 belt conveyor, it has optimized them and offers an even more targeted product line.
New connection position for greater protection and flexibility
The motor connection is now angled by 90 degrees, which means that it is less exposed and thus better protected in the event of a collision. Another advantage is the variable orientation: The direction of the cable outlet can be adjusted in 90-degree increments. Customers can define the desired orientation directly during online configuration or, if necessary, change it in a few easy steps.
New transmission variant for lighter loads
In addition to the improved connection layout, Montech has added a third transmission variant to the drive range of the TB40 belt conveyor. It is ideal for applications with lighter loads but higher conveying speeds. New conveying speeds from 10 to 45 m/min with a maximum conveyor load of 50 kg are possible. This new variant optimally complements the two existing transmission versions; one carries loads of up to 80 kg at a conveying speed of 1 to 33.5 m/min, the other loads of up to 200 kg at a conveying speed of 0.25 to 12 m/min. Thanks to these targeted adjustments, the TB40 belt conveyor now offers an even more flexible solution to fulfill various conveying requirements while increasing operational safety.
