Yves Figuerola: Nextpower™ innovates and delivers integrated technology solutions for modern energy infrastructure. Its solar and energy storage platforms help customers design, build, and operate utility-scale power plants and other critical power infrastructure with faster project delivery, improved system performance, greater reliability, and long-term operational value. Building on more than a decade of energy technology leadership, Nextpower partners with customers worldwide to accelerate the deployment of reliable firm power needed for a rapidly electrifying world.
What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Y.F: The company initially started as a provider of solar trackers, a field in which it has been a global leader for several years. However, in recent years, Nextpower has evolved beyond trackers and now offers a wider array of products, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), energy management software, power control technologies, among others. At the end of the day, our focus lies on meeting our clients’ needs and ensuring that their projects remain profitable in the long term.
What’s the news about new products/services?
Y.F: Nextpower has introduced a number of new products to the European market in recent months. Last June, we launched two new products: a new two-in-portrait tracker system called NX Gemini™ and an innovative integrated solution named NX Anchor™.
Building on five years of operational experience with 2P tracker technology, the reimagined NX Gemini system is designed to deliver improved performance, constructability, and cost-effectiveness for customers. The system incorporates advancements in Nextpower’s proven tracker controls and software architecture, enabling row-level control, network communications, weather response, and centralized site intelligence.
Engineered for Europe’s variable geotechnical conditions, the NX Anchor™ foundation system offers multiple pile types for soft, expansive, frost-prone, medium, and mixed soils. All piles can be installed using readily available standard equipment. Co-engineered for installation with Nextpower’s NX Horizon 1P tracker, the integrated foundation supports higher tracker clearances, with up to 70 percent less embedment depth than standard H-piles, and enables up to 20 percent faster installation.

Y.F: Nextpower offers a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for utility-scale solar projects. Its core business remains single-axis solar tracking systems. The company also provides electrical balance-of-system solutions, digital monitoring and optimization software, and robotics for inspection and plant intelligence. In addition, Nextpower offers a range of project and field services and specialized solutions for applications such as agrivoltaics and challenging terrain. Overall, its portfolio covers the solar plant from foundations and trackers through electrical infrastructure and digital optimization to monitoring and operational services.

Y.F: Europe and the world in general are currently going through a very strong electrification cycle, mainly driven by increasing energy demand related to several factors, such as the development of new data centers and geopolitical challenges. PV is already recognized by all stakeholders as a viable option for responding to this increase in demand, offering low and stable prices, room for innovation, and the ability to be deployed at the required speed.
With the introduction of BESS into the equation, solar energy is becoming one of the energy sources with the greatest potential for reliable growth worldwide. In Europe, this will certainly have a significant impact on efforts to electrify the continent with renewable energy sources.

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
Y.F: In addition to NX Gemini™ and NX Anchor™, NX TrueCapture® is one of the most innovative products we are currently offering. It is the industry’s first and most advanced intelligent control system. TrueCapture prevents yield loss under any conditions and optimizes output during the day’s shoulder periods. By combining on-site sensors, weather forecasts, and machine learning, it consistently delivers reliable yields across both new and existing Nextpower projects worldwide.
Agrivoltaics is one of the sectors where this wide variety of products and the capacity to integrate them for each individual project really shines. Particularly in Europe, where each region has its own unique challenges, the proper coordination of all the elements that make up a project is necessary to make each project as profitable as possible.
What estimations do you have for the second half of 2026?
Y.F: 2026 has been a great year for the company, and we hope to continue consolidating the global leadership we currently have in the tracker market, while all the new products we have been releasing reach the market. We foresee that demand for new energy projects will not slow down anytime soon, and we will continue to help provide our clients with the best possible technology to bring new energy projects into reality.
