System Special Parts, an Italian manufacturer and spin-off of SystemS2 founded in 2007 and now part of the Lavorgomma Group, produces custom industrial components – conveyor belts, polyurethane and rubber parts, rollers, scrapers, hydro-cyclones, and belt conveyor systems – for concrete batching plants, asphalt plants, quarries, mining, and metal rolling mills.
With a 100% Made in Italy supply chain and over 15 years of industry experience, the company is expanding into European markets in 2026, targeting OEMs, distributors, and end users in sectors driven by Italy’s PNRR infrastructure investment cycle.
Interview with Davide Barotti – General Manager at System Special Parts Srl.
A brief description of the company and its activities.
System Special Parts Srl was established as a spin-off of SystemS2, a company founded in January 2007 and specialized in the B2B manufacturing and distribution of industrial technical supplies. Over the years, System Special Parts has consolidated a strong presence within the Italian manufacturing sector, earning a reputation for product quality, rapid delivery times, and the ability to address the distinct needs of diverse industries.
In 2023, the company joined the Lavorgomma Group, a prominent industrial group that brings together complementary expertise, technologies, and production capabilities. Today, System Special Parts relies on an end-to-end manufacturing chain, cross-disciplinary technical skills, and over fifteen years of industry know-how. This enables us to provide clients with direct-from-manufacturer solutions, high performance, and tailored service.
What are the main areas of activity of the company?
We are mainly present on these market sectors: concrete batching plants, asphalt plants, quarries and mining, aluminum, steel, and copper rolling mills and logistics lines.
What’s the news about new products/services?
From design to production, we develop custom industrial components and solutions by integrating technical expertise, flexibility, and a 100% Made in Italy supply chain. We guarantee continuity and outstanding performance for OEMs, distributors, and end users.

What are the ranges of products/services?
We produce: coil wrapper belts, rubber-PVC-PU belts, sidewalls & cleats rubber belts, rubber-coated sheets, antishock bars, powder coating profiles, belt centering, cleaners, scrapers, rubber and polyurethane V-belts, technical sheets, rubber and PU coating, PVC and polyurethane hoses, wheels, hydro-cyclones, suction cups, screening meshes, net hauler belt, PU rods, gaskets, rollers, drums, extruded and rubber profiles, custom polyurethane parts to customer drawings and belt conveyor system.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
The Italian industrial landscape currently presents a striking contrast between infrastructure-led expansion and manufacturing efficiency pressures. Driven by massive public funding from the PNRR, civil engineering sectors—ranging from aggregate extraction and concrete batching to asphalt production—are experiencing sustained momentum tied to major railway and road modernizations. Conversely, facing elevated energy costs and strict decarbonization mandates, primary metal producers and rolling mill operators are pivoting from greenfield expansions toward line automation, waste heat recovery, and targeted plant retrofits. Ultimately, our market is defined by a strong demand for high-efficiency equipment that enables operators to execute large-scale public contracts while strictly controlling operational expenditure.
What can you tell us about market trends?
The Italian market is currently defined by a strong contrast between public-funded growth and energy-driven operational discipline. Unprecedented PNRR funding is driving heavy demand across civil infrastructure, quarries, and batching plants for rail, road, and port projects. At the same time, high energy costs and strict decarbonization mandates are pushing metals, rolling mills, and logistics operators away from simple capacity expansion toward high-efficiency retrofits, line automation, and predictive maintenance to minimize operational expenditure while meeting sustainability targets

What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
We are currently focusing our investments on enhancing the components our clients install in their machinery, leveraging advanced polyurethane processing and rubber vulcanization. By using these materials, we significantly boost component reliability—delivering superior wear resistance, enhanced grip, or reduced weight depending on the specific application. These innovative solutions also empower our clients to stand out from the competition.
What estimations do you have for the second half of 2026?
Despite the challenging macroeconomic and geopolitical backdrop, we are gaining traction in highly attractive industrial sectors where technical solutions are the primary driver, positioning us as the preferred choice. Since early 2026, we have been expanding into European markets, where both Made in Italy quality and our innovative solutions are highly regarded. Our geographic and market diversification gives us a positive outlook for the second half of the year, confirming the growth trend seen in the first six months.
