Tecnostatic is the first company in Europe that has developed and manufactured electrostatic spraying equipment for the disinfection of surfaces. The company has an advanced technology that covers all types of surfaces of a homogeneous form with the ability to reach and make the disinfectant penetrate to areas of difficult access thanks to its air-assisted system that causes the drops of the product to be introduced in areas inside the facilities or surfaces to be treated and performs a 360º coverage.
The electrostatic charge on the droplets that come out of the gun with a size of about 40 microns causes these droplets to charge electromagnetically and act as if they were a magnet making them adhere to the surface as if they were a magnet, achieving a uniform coverage on the surface without excessive expenditure of biocidal product.

TECNOSTATIC: The companies that demand our electrostatic spraying equipment are of all kinds of sectors, from hospitals, gyms, hotels, food industry, shopping centers, cleaning and disinfection companies, among others.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
TECNOSTATIC: Although all our equipment can be used in any sector, we have just developed a more sophisticated and powerful equipment for the agricultural field. We consider that disinfection in agriculture is vital to maintain a high level of care and quality in crops and food.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
TECNOSTATIC: At Tecnostatic we have also developed 6 electrostatic sprayers, all with the same function, but each of them designed for each type of sector depending on the sector in which the client wants to work.
The Tecnostatic electrostatic sprayers:
- The TS 100, designed mainly for the food industry or companies.
- The TS 200, Designed for third party service companies that need to perform services in the food industry.
- The TS 300, Equipments that are capable of connection to the compressed air system in the same installation of the customer.
- The TS 400B, has a battery operated with a 3 hour autonomy, making it easy to use in all types of establishments and is designed for use in hospitals, nursing homes or offices.
- The TS ME, A battery operated backpack, mainly developed for the transport sector such as subways, trains, aeroplanes and all types of vehicles.
- The TS AM, A battery-operated unit designed for the disinfection of ambulance surfaces mainly. This equipment is capable of disinfecting ambulance cabins without the need for application by a person and is totally autonomous.
We are currently developing an electrostatic spraying equipment, the TS AG, for the agri-food sector, where we have demonstrated through tests carried out together with the agri-food engineering department of the University of Almeria the considerable benefits that our technology provides in comparison with traditional spraying systems.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
TECNOSTATIC: The markets in which we are receiving demand are from different countries in Europe. The companies that most value our technology are manufacturers of biocides with nanotechnology. We have a long way to go because sectors such as the food and hospital industry where the sensitivity to maintain hygiene standards are higher than in other sectors we still lack a lot of commercial information in these sectors and awareness.

TECNOSTATIC: The market trend is slow and cautious, we need more support and capacity and publicize our technology, as potential customers encounter lack of information about our electrostatic sprayer technology and the benefits it brings.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
TECNOSTATIC: Our most innovative and most requested team are our TS ME backpack, this is because this equipment allows the consumer to perform services and applications in a very comfortable way without needing to depend on an electrical connection and by entering anywhere in the installation.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?
TECNOSTATIC: By 2022 Tecnostatic has several objectives; we seek to continue to grow in all sectors and countries. Estimates of sales results and amounts are currently highly theoretical. Our purpose is to carry out distribution contracts in all European countries and that in each country sales of a minimum of 10/20 units per country can be made.
