Moltech started its operation over 25 years ago specialized in offering industrial solutions in machine belt type power-transmission and conveying processes. The company is located at the south border of Hungary (Szeged) and is owned by Csaba Molnár – CEO of Moltech.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
MOLTECH: Our factory workshop produces v-belts, conveyer belts and conveyor rollers. We also design and produce fully tailored conveyor installations.
E.E: What’s the news for 2021 about new products?
MOLTECH: Most products are tailored to machines, to factories and/or to their representative technical service dealers.
Not so new, but some of our specialties in machine conveying belts:
- combine harvester (powerflow belts);
- cable haul-off (caterpillar belts);
- wood processing (top-pressure belts for edge banding machines).
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
MOLTECH: The ranges are:
- Standard and non-standard V-belts in any size, any length;
- PVC conveyor belts – finished to specific machine application;
- Steel and plastic conveyor rollers – light and heavy duty, tailored to application.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
MOLTECH: On domestic market we service a large variety of factories, o.a. in poultry-meat processing, metal-waste processing, distribution centers and printing houses. Many of our customers are in process of innovating their factory lines.
On export markets we are contracted by some machine-builders to provide belts but we are mainly selling in after-market to industrial dealers across Europe, Middle East, Australia and China.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
MOLTECH: All end users industries keep looking for quality solutions at competitive prices. In 2020 we have heavily invested in upgrading our resources: training our people, renewing machinery and software to better address the challenge and be more competitive.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
MOLTECH: We have engineered and produced:
- turn-key „ikea-type”modular solution for machine conveying;
- special machine conveyor with easy clean frame.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2021?
MOLTECH: Modest but healthy growth on both domestic and export market.
