Easy Engineering: A brief description of the company and its activities.
Sascha Isinger: Our solutions, including Dashboard4Ewon and the VISUALYS IIoT platform, enable companies in the industrial and infrastructure sectors to present their data simply and efficiently. Our motto “We create data awareness” stands for transparent and user-friendly processing of complex data.
E.E: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
S.I: Our core competency lies in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). We focus on simplifying the capture, storage, and visualization of machine data so that it can be used by anyone. Our software solutions are entirely web-based, meaning they only require a browser to use and do not need any additional software installation.
Since early 2024, we have also been offering IIoT gateways specially tailored to our products. This hardware enables easy data collection from machines, energy meters, and various control systems. Our gateways are compatible with different controllers such as Siemens, Schneider, Omron, and Rockwell and support various energy meters. We comprehensively support our customers in selecting the right software and hardware and in setting them up.
Our core product, the VISUALYS IIoT platform, allows for the collection, storage, and utilization of data from machines and systems. This platform is a joint project with our Italian partner Rilheva, and we offer it worldwide. Our team consists of experts in mechanical engineering, marketing, development, and sales, with a strong focus on customer contact.
E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?
S.I: This year, our VISUALYS IIoT platform is in focus, providing customers with easy data handling without worrying about transferring, saving, and storing their data – we take care of that. Many companies are increasingly making their machines smarter to extract and use data meaningfully. Here, VISUALYS has found a market niche with its IIoT platform and the matching hardware gateways.
Since mid-2024, we have been offering a complete IIoT package, which includes a ready-to-use gateway for field connection and the appropriate platform, including complete setup. If desired, we also provide the corresponding SIM card. After delivery, the customer only needs to supply power to the hardware and connect the controllers – and the first data flows. This service is highly demanded as many companies lack the time to deal with IIoT topics.
E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?
S.I:

E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
S.I: IIoT is a central topic in many companies, especially large ones with the financial means and manpower to develop their own solutions. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have a disadvantage here as it is unclear who will take care of the topic, when it will start, and how to start at all. VISUALYS focuses on the SME market and supports these companies precisely at this point.
We already have over 250 customers using our IIoT solutions. Examples include the capture of fuel tank levels, billing of purified solvent in the automotive industry, and monitoring of energy consumption at a major German retailer.

VISUALYS aims to achieve just that – a solution that is quickly deployable and flexible enough to respond to market demands.”
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
S.I: Many companies and manufacturers are developing software solutions that theoretically work well but often do not meet customer requirements in practice. Customers need to adapt their processes, which is a hindrance. The winner is the one who can respond flexibly to market demands. We, therefore, enjoy working with small and medium-sized companies, communicating clearly, and solving challenges together.
Previously, decisions on remote maintenance and data collection were made technically. Today, the use of IIoT is determined and demanded by management, creating a completely new horizon for the company’s orientation.
E.E: What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
S.I: The VISUALYS IIoT platform and the associated IIoT gateways are our most innovative products, offering an immediately usable and fully integrated solution for data collection and visualization.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2024?
S.I: 2024 is a year of uncertainty. Companies are increasingly looking for optimization potential, which is good for us. With our solutions, companies cannot directly make money but can achieve significant savings. The demand for clear, understandable IIoT solutions is there. We expect 2024 to be the most successful year since the company was founded.
