Nevezus is a company specializing in the conversion of waste into energy. It was founded by three former operators of methanization sites who are passionate about the field and the optimization of processes.
What are the main areas of activity of the company?
The main area of activity is methanization, along with hydrothermal gasification. Nevezus’ mission is to support project leaders through all phases, from construction to operation. We pool our expertise (biological, technical, and carbon footprint analysis) to help sites produce more energy while consuming less, and to ensure technical, environmental, and economic security for the installations. Currently, we support around fifty sites in France and are beginning to expand internationally. Our services are highly flexible and tailored to the specific needs of each client.
What’s the news about new products/services?
As part of our support for operators, we have identified a need for greater responsiveness and a more comprehensive approach to optimizing green energy production. To address this, we developed a digital tool under the brand name BIOGAZ-IA®, which offers a hypervision of the entire installation, combined with algorithms that not only monitor the system but also enable predictive maintenance and operational adjustments for maximum efficiency. Some key features include:

This tool is accessible and available for all sites, regardless of size. Its cost is linked to the power produced, creating a win-win pricing model.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
This tool has been in development since 2021 and has been on the market since 2023. Currently, Biogaz-IA® is installed on various types of sites (agricultural, industrial, wastewater treatment plants) across France. We are now receiving interest from international markets, including the Netherlands and Canada.
What can you tell us about market trends?
The anaerobic digestion sector is still relatively young (around 15 years old), but it is continuing to develop. Currently, there are about 2,000 sites across the country, with strong medium- and long-term growth potential. One of the key benefits of Biogaz-IA® is its ability to enhance the environmental and economic security of these sites, helping to support the sustainable growth of this promising sector.
What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
At present, Biogaz-IA® is the only digital tool in France that offers optimized management for methanization. This innovative tool not only simplifies daily operations but also boosts the economic performance of the installations.
