DEUTSCHE MESSE TAKES OVER MAJORITY OF LET CHINA LOGISTICS FAIR

As the operator of CeMAT ASIA in Shanghai and LET China in Guangzhou, the Deutsche Messe group of companies can now offer its customers two dynamic intralogistics fairs in the east and south of China, thus covering all of the country’s key industrial regions and reaching all the relevant buyers there. Staged every autumn in Shanghai with a total of 650 exhibitors on display space of over 65,000 square meters, CeMAT ASIA is by far Asia’s biggest and most important intralogistics trade fair. With the annual LET China running every spring in Guangzhou, it has acquired an established trade fair which hosts 280 exhibitors on display space of around 15,000 square meters. LET China has its main focus on the Pearl River Delta, i.e. the region around Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, where a great number of manufacturing enterprises are located.

In the future, CeMAT ASIA and LET China will pool their strengths to generate added value for their customers, including the joint planning of forums and conventions as well as cooperative matchmaking and joint acquisitions. “We are pleased that we can now offer our customers a professional trade fair platform in autumn, and another one in spring. Based on our long years of experience in the Chinese market and our close contacts with the country’s leading associations, we are confident we can continue to expand CeMAT ASIA and LET China to satisfy the growing demand for intralogistics solutions,” reports Krister Sandvoss, Global Director of CeMAT Worldwide.

Both fairs focus on the very latest trends and developments in Logistics 4.0. Thanks to China’s rapid economic growth, especially in the eCommerce sector, logistics is becoming an increasingly important factor. Concepts like “smart manufacturing” and “Made in China 2025” have inspired Chinese businesses to place digital transformation and logistics technology high on their agendas.

The next CeMAT ASIA will be held in Shanghai from 6 to 9 November 2018, while the next LET China takes place in Guangzhou from 29 to 31 May 2019.
